That top 10 is SO ridiculously URBAN. :puke2: :( Honestly, the charts could almost be American by that aspect sans Edward Maya!

We *so* need Ms Minogue to blow all that urban crap away...!

27. Not Afraid - Eminem

Normally I hate to see Eminem charting, but in this case it'll now remove him from direct first-week competition with Kylie... :)

I personally think this is one of the best top 10 we've had so far this year! My least favourite song is Eenie Meenie, and even that is not that bad.
Looks like the Hurts track was the fanbase buying it at midnight.

I was hoping to see it in the albums chart, since there is a bundle for 79p that includes the original and a remix - but no sign :( Still I think the physical will sell well enought to scrape top 40.

Tbh, I can't see her having a monster run if she's entering straight in. "Alejandro" will probably last far longer and for good reason ^_^

Becuase it's the 712th single from an album that's already sold 2m, you mean? :P

I wonder why the chart is just utterly urbanated atm. I mean it's been bad before but this year has been just insane for urban music :S

I hope we get some good pop and rock albums in the second half of the year.

I just wish Pretty Reckless got Top 10... that would've been a breath of fresh air over the urban-domination. :P

Still, good debut for them I guess :kink:.

9/10 Tracks in the Top 10: R&B. That's enough. Kylie, It's time.

Yeah, there's a lot, isn't there! I think 6 out of 10 though.

Nothin' On You - Hip Hop & Rap/R&B

Solo - Ska/R&B

Ridin' Solo - R&B/Pop

Dirtee Disco - Hip Hop & Rap/Electronic

Candy - Pop/R&B

Good Times - Hip Hop & Rap/Pop

Stereo Love - Electronic

All Night Long - R&B/Pop/Electronic

Eenie Meenie - Pop/Ska

OMG - Pop/R&B

Because it's a superior song with massive selling potential no matter how many albums she's sold. That argument has been used for every single since "Paparazzi", it was mean to stop "Telephone" going to #1 and look what happened.

If Stereo Love falls out of the top 10 (which it probably will) and N-Dubz climbs in (again, likely) we will have a completely urban top 10, and out of those ten, just 3 are British- I dont even mind most of them (asides from Iyaz, Kingston-Bieber, Usher) but it is really depressing how Americanised that is :(

rant over, on to the chart- Its a battle between Dizzee and Iyaz for either number 1 or 2 (depending on how quickly BOB trail off), I hope its Dizzee, Its not great, but its much better than Solo <_<

N-Dubz are about to overtake Usher though. Still ridiculous, do really people like only urban now? I hope this urban trend is going to die off in a year or two, we need more pop and expecially rock in the top-10s.

OH NO. :(

Maybe by some glimmer of hope, Danielle Hope (aha, pun!) could go top 10 to give us two non-urban songs.
