May 19, 201016 yr They're probably waiting a week to playlist (since the release is June 13th & full physical & digital EP 2 weeks later) and don't want to jinx it like "2 Hearts". As you can see here, Capital FM are already all over "All The Lovers" but both Radio 1 & Radio 2 are holding off on overplaying it so far.
May 19, 201016 yr Katy up to B-List! :D I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't add Kylie tbh. She won't need it. She'll dominate the music channels and commercial radio stations (just like Alex) and, it being a lead single from a pop icon, will be guaranteed top 5.

May 19, 201016 yr / actually playlist what they want to and not just what's successful perhaps? But what songs actually do they want? What are the criteria s for them? I mean they added 'Outta Here', 'Heartbreak' etc. after they had become the hits, so it not properly up to their taste. Some of the artists go there automatically (see Sugababes) while for others the door is locked forever whatever they release (there are some examples, can't remember just now). So it's not based only of their opinion about the song. It's about publicity, relevancy (in their eyes) and successfulness. Not really about the songs themselves what's how should actually be.
May 19, 201016 yr Why does this playlist have to be hit and miss every single week?. :rolleyes: I really don't understand why and how Edward Maya can be out of the playlist. He's in the fooking top 5 in the chart for goodness' sake. Hooray for Ke$ha, Mumford & Sons and Pixie making into the A-List. Also, yay for Robyn and KATY PERRY! :w00t: getting to the B-List. California Gurls id defiantly going to be a #1 smash here. Watch this space Yay for Florence too with amazing haunting Cosmic Love getting on the C-List. May 20, 201016 yr It's a shame Miley won't be playlisted.. I'm guessing Hollywood/Disney stopped paying Radio1, cause they have stopped playing anything Disney related and there was a time last year when they were playlisting Miley, Demi & Jonas Brothers...

May 20, 201016 yr I'm guessing Hollywood/Disney stopped paying Radio1, cause they have stopped playing anything Disney related and there was a time last year when they were playlisting Miley, Demi & Jonas Brothers... In Britain they're on Fascination (Girls Aloud, Saturdays, Girls Can't Catch :lol:, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) And this label does really seem to pay Radio 1 sometimes. I'm sure they did some magic with 'If This Is Love' and 'Echo' and didn't with 'Bittersweet'.

May 21, 201016 yr has anyone heard Funeral Party on Grimy's nightime show??immense!! :wub: when looking at the playlists people really need to consider the radio 2 list before complaining cos alot of the time if theyre playing a song on radio 2 radio 1 will leave it apart from a few exceptions.(alicia keys/robbie williams).
