Shame half of them weren't on iTunes in 2008, did any of them even make a mark at all, I seem to remember seeing Divine floating about and Secret Combination went top 60 iirc, higher than Andy went :rofl: I was surprised Maria didn't do anything, or was she not available to buy :unsure:

Only the 2007 one is still there I think :( I'm really fed up with the 'album only' songs preventing people from buying them.

 

Why would the record company not want Satellite to have a chance to be a hit? Unless they're planning a later UK release for it regardless of how it does...

Well I can imagine it as a UK hit, but really it would have to win the contest to do it now... :(

I listened on Spotify the other day (some have been removed now) and I can honestly say the only one I really really like is Lena's Sattelite. Safura is pretty good, but most of the others are dire :( I'll probably change my mind on the night tho

Is Ireland's CD single out yet btw? What's the tracklist, and can I buy it online?

The CD single was released on May 14 in Ireland. Amazon.co.uk have the tracklist as just the ESC version of It's For You only. However, it says that it's unavailable. :( I've tried cdwow.ie and they don't seem to have it either. Goldendiscs.com only have it as a download. :(

Damn, oh well. If it's just one track probably not worth it, but I wanted the dance remix :(

Just to throw its obsessives into a rage, Safura's Drip Drop has been made 'album only' on iTunes and there's no alternative single, meaning that like Lena, it can't be purchased in the UK...

To be fair, it's the same story on Amazon/7Digital and the others...so I'd say it's more of a problem with the record company behind the compilation for some reason or another rather than iTunes :drama:

 

Strange anyway though, there might not be any ESC top 40 hits this year which would be a shame :(

I'v always thought that despite automtically qualifying the 'Big 4' should be allowed to perform at the Semi's.
