May 22, 201015 yr “To be honest with you, I don’t give a f*** about red carpets, and I never do them. I don’t like them. First of all – how could any of these outfits possibly look good with an ugly red carpet under them?”LMFAO! Amazing. Also I found this bit quite sad :( “Yes, but it’s OK. It’s just from fatigue and other things,” she shrugs, before saying, with great care, “I’m very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It’s a very personal thing. I don’t want my fans to be worried about me.” Her eyes are very wide. “Lupus. That’s genetic, isn’t it?” I ask. “Yes.” “And have you been tested?” Again, the eyes are very wide and steady. “Yes.” Pause. “But I don’t want anyone to be worried.” Overall an amazing interview! She's still the celebrity who cares most about her fans I think. (Close 2nd though is Kelly C.) “I hate big acts that just throw an album out against the wall, like ‘BUY IT! F*** YOU!’ It’s mean to fans. You should go out and tour it to your fans in India, Japan, the UK. I don’t believe in how the music industry is today. I believe in how it was in 1982.”
May 22, 201015 yr Wow. AMAZING interview and an amazing opportunity. Jealous to the extreme. It's so interesting to hear a bit more about the things we never hear about.
May 22, 201015 yr She explains she doesn’t mind about people downloading her music for free Ah, phew, I'm off the hook :kink:
May 22, 201015 yr This is going to sound cheesy as hell, but she really DOES inspire me... AMAZING. And that journalist is a brilliant writer.
May 22, 201015 yr Wow, and to think I'd gone off her slightly recently. Amazing interview, made me lover her all over again. She seems so humble and a 'real person' under all of the wacky costumes and fame - I love how devoted she is to her fans.
May 23, 201015 yr That was an incredible read. She inspires me so much, and is easily my favourite artist ever.
