I think anyone would be hard-pushed to find a more offensive album cover than Madonna's 'Hard Candy'. I have a lot of Madonna's albums, but I've managed to block out her 'Hard Candy' phase.

Not sure what I think the best cover ever is. But I love The Saturdays 'Chasing Lights' cover. (Well I've always loved the colour ontop of B&W photo's sorta look, but the picture they used was actually a pretty great shot. I also adore Kelly C's 'All I Ever Wanted' era covers. (I'm even a fan of the album covers :blush:)

 

As for shots where it's just a face of the artist nothing beats the best album of all-time (imo) cover... (again imo obviously :P)

It's a bit 'in your face', I far preferred her more natural look on her debut album sleeve. Pretty girl but there's such a thing as too much make up.
