The most interesting new entry (for me) is Dan Balan - Chica Bomb:

At first I almost hated it but now it's looking like a certain dance hit for me! :)

The most boring new entry (in the C-list) is Dee-Lux - Hot Hot Hot: generic rapping over the dance melody.

Some brilliant new additions this week :)

Dan Balan is a rather odd addition in many respects - considering the stuff they refuse to playlist for fear of being 'out of touch with the audience' etc... they play a song which is straying dangerously close to novelty. I quite like it but I've never loved it. I hope this means that they're going to continue supporting European hits though, whether I like it or not, I fully support and appreciate its addition! :D

Stromae next, thanks.

Example A-List :D

Eminem + Iyaz A-List = bandwagonning? Glad though :D

Big Boi, Chem Bros, DenFer, FloMac, Kele, McLean, N-Dubz, Scissors, all move up to B-List, all varying levels from good to amazing :w00t:

Dan Balan added

Dee-Lux, what's that?

Everything x2 C-List :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Hope it's a hit for them

K'naan (), Sean (:puke:) and The Squad () C-List = more bandwagonning?

Kylie and GaGa added, BJ can stop worrying now

New Rowland song *yawn*

Great week, if only for Alejandro's add and Cosmic Love/Schoolin' moving up :D

'Chica Bomb' is by far the worst song I've heard this year. Absolutely dreadful!

The video isn't much better either...

I grew to love it, blame Hendina (Robot) for infecting it to my ears

 That's where I know it from too!

I'm sort of hoping I'll never have to hear it again though! Definitely didn't grow with each listen for me...

Dan Balan was a memebr of O - ZONE THAT CHARTED IN 2004 WITH DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI
FANTASTIC to see they're still supporting Kylie and the Scissor Sisters ^_^ Those two plus Commander should ensure that the three best songs of the summer are all huge!

I have to admit that I was worried that they might snub Kylie and leave her to Radio 2. They seem to stop supporting a lot of artists as soon as they pass 40, but thankfully for now at least, Kylie seems immune to the rule.

Jay-Z's YF and OTTNO were both released after he turned 40 and they both still got supported :o

I'm not saying it's impossible, just unusual these days. They'd never playlist somebody like Cyndi Lauper for example, who still produces contemporary music which wouldn't sound at all out of place on the playlist. Fair enough not playing new material by Status Quo or the like who have been peddling the same song for their entire career

Radio 1 still have a lot of support for Faithless whose lead singer is 52 years old!

They're playlisting Commander! Knew they would obviously since they wouldnt invite her all the way to sunny Bangor to perform it and then just ignore it but you know YAY FOR RADIO 1 <3

Moyles had the first play of Kylie so surely we all saw that coming too?

Their continued support of both Faithless and Chemical Brothers actually surprises me, considering neither seems able to get hit singles, or albums that are anything more than one week wonders, any more :o

I really dont' see the fuss with 'Commander'. I guess it's going to become the next song Buzzjack raves about everywhere.

Great additions though. There are some awesome songs on the playlist that are set to be released soon and they MAY just alter my opinions of 2010's musical output.

Also, I always feel pleased when Radio 1 have You Me At Six or Kids In Glass Houses on their A-List, as I think they'll finally going to get a massive hit but they never do. I hope the presence of Frankie from the Saturdays can change that this time ^_^

I wonder if they're going to snub JLS. :o

Wishful thinking maybe but I can hope <3.

Oh and yay for Kylie, GaGa & Kelly!
