Frisky will be huge, as will Alejandro and California Gurls, amongst others. I think they're all great songs. :)

Completely agree. All Night Long is the sound that suits Alex. Broken Heels and Bad Boys are too clean-cut.

I doubt it would be The Silence ft. Michael Buble. :lol: I doubt they'd copy the ANL thing by re-adjusting the album track with a featured vocal. :lol:

 

It could be Before It Explodes but Alex did say it's a song we haven't heard before - she didn't have to say that if the song leaked...

 

I think Alex said or at least implied that the featured male artist is American.

 

Hope she doesn't go down the Keri Hilson route of being the type of artist to always have collaborations but I guess Beyonce did it with her first two singles.

I don't expect Alex to ever have a summer hit, I doubt she'll release another song until X-Factor season, late October, early November will be her next single release date.

Leona didn't get to number one due to the lack of commercial elements in Happy. Not up-tempo which was/is dominating music, lacked a hook etc. Despite that, it is a completely amazing song. ^_^

 

Alex (and also Leona I sense) is releasing very current music atm (All Night Long being prime example) and she has shown she can sell without R1 airplay and considering ANL was the third/fourth single from her album kinda shows that Alex has the potential to sell.
