I can't watch it due to iPlayer being UK only, but hopefully some enterprising soul will put the performances up on YouTube for me. It's on 6music, so hopefully I can tune in.

I'm hoping that Wild Beasts win, but after last year I can see them giving it to one of the more mainstream artists like Biffy Clyro.

The XX won, yay. Although it should have been Laura Marling. But at least it wasn't like last year and bloody Speech Debelle.

Not heard the album in full myself (but tbh Corinne's - The Sea was the only one I had) but from the songs I've heard from it, a decent winner :D

Strangely the shortlist just seemed to consist of nothing but albums I've been meaning to listen too but never quite gotten round to.

Surely since 2008 (Elbow), 2004 (Franz Ferdinand) or 1993 (umm, I forget, I'll remember later)?

The 1993 winner? It's on the tip of my tongue. It was....

Makes up for last year, at least the album should get top 10 this week. I wanted Biffy or M&S to win.
The xx. Deserved winners, but I'm a bit disappointed that Wild Beasts didn't win. Hopefully Islands will go top 40 now.

and the album might go top 5...

FF was terrible. Apart from Take Me Out I found it to be very mannered and quite irritating.

Actually, Antony and the Johnsons was a worthy winner.

Well it was obvious they were going to play it safe so Im not surprised the xx won- I must give the album a listen

I really wanted Mumfords to win though :(

Although the album is lacking something imo. I've had it since last autumn and I still can't decide whether it's good or a little boring. And I've seen them live as well which confused me even more.
