I totally agree apart from the last track Don't Be Evil which is the only one worth listening to again I think.

Yeah, it does seem the only track with a bit of spirit about it

Not good news. I might wait and sample it from youtube first.

So., they're set for their lowest placed lead off single since 1994.

Except Faster was brilliant and this is a stinker

Ok, I purchased today. First listen is ok actually. It could be decent, better and lighter than Send Away the Tigers.

album is very much a grower I think, I didn't think much of it from the first listen but as I continued to listen to it, I started to love most of the tracks

I don't really think the single was that bad to be honest and I'd like to see Some Kind Of Nothingness and Postcards From A Young Man being singles taken from the album.

obviously it's not as good as old Manics as nothing will touch their peak but I think this is similar to SATT, a good album that has some really good songs on it

I'm hoping it's less throw away than Send Away the Tigers.

Also, I'm fed up of critics saying that the Manics have two types of albums - glam and post-punk. What about This is My Truth and Lifeblood. Plus Know Your Enemy was so varied that you could hardly lump it in with post-punk or glam.

Critics earn their money by labeling artists

I'm predicting the album will enter at number 7 next Sunday

Number 1 in the midweeks.

17K sales.

Hopefully they will see off baldy Collins (who is currently No2 and only 'a few thousand' behind).

Very surprised at the sales. I thought they would struggle as they have become a fan-based band now.

Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid band.....

Why wasn't this the lead single?
