Actually I think Brandon's excluded...

 

The Killers have a forum, so his first two solo singles are banned aren't they (Like how Cheryl Cole's are banned due to being in GA etc...)? :unsure: Yeah Mike's track is a bit weak to me personally. (Probably means it'll either win or do well at least :lol:) but can't guarantee points from myself unless it grows on me. (I can't quite see how everyone are predicting it to be huge, but seeing it do well in America has made me re-think it could potentially do well over here too)

I love Cooler Than Me, I can definitely see it crossing over and being a hit here, if they release it at least, Radio 1 will love it! I'm getting the 'Fireflies' vibe from it - I first heard that before it was even a hit in the US and it struck me that it could be a big international hit :o IIRC you weren't a major fan of that either Jonjo :kink:

It's more upbeat and fun than than my original entry, the only downside is after searching for ages, I can only find one link for the song. The video is fan made, and the sound quality isn't ideal, but it's the best I could find.

Still about 36 hours left - I'm not overly worried but I might send some PM's out this time tomorrow. Looking like 50 entries in total if everyone confirms though, but one or two may have forgotten about it.

Yes it was but I changed it yesterday.

 

I'm leaving confirmation open until Tuesday at 1pm. I won't be online after 10pm on Monday or before 1pm on Tuesday, so won't be able to close it and won't be starting the final voting thread until later on Tuesday. Therefore it makes no difference to me, and everyone gets an extra 13 hours to confirm :D

 

I stress that I won't accept ANY late confirmations after this, you will have had 10 days to confirm which is more than enough. So just over 2 days left to get your entries in/make any changes etc...

 

I'm offline from 10pm tonight until at least 1.30pm tomorrow, so won't be here to close it or sort out the final voting until tomorrow afternoon. Hence it seemed more fair to give people the extra 13 hours should they want it, nothing else will be happening in the meantime after all.

 

Like I say though, I'll be sorting it tomorrow as soon as I get in from work so if anyone does confirm after 1pm tomorrow, they won't be able to participate. As I said in the green room, all times and dates are provisional so don't be surprised if things and times change slightly, I have to work this contest around my own life and I'm moving house in 3 days now so as you can imagine, it's all pretty hectic :drama:

Glad you like, I love Ellie's demo, and love Lena's album version but couldn't decide which was better - but I prefer the duet version to either, it has more oomph in the chorus :wub: I'm justifying it to myself by the fact that it's a song contest and I'm certain that nobody else will have heard this duet beforehand, so it's a discovery, even if the artists are cheap :lol:

 

Yes I agree, although I can tolerate Lose Yourself, Like Toy Soliders and Mockingbird as well. Other than that though, no thanks, I usually despise the guy, and after getting B.o.B's album and Zech raving over his version of Airplanes - it's truly abysmal, I'll stick to the original just with Hayley thanks :lol: I wouldn't mind Rihanna doing a Love The Way You Like Part II [broken Down] with this, and making her own verses along with the current chorus - I reckon it could be a huge smash for her, although this duet will undoubtedly be massive anyway.

Eminem used to be so good, now he's quite literally worn off.
