Yes! I love the simplicity of the original rap verses contrasting with the vocal chorus. Eminem adds nothing to the track, he definitely sounds like an unnecessary afterthought in it and it generally becomes too busy and cluttered.

Yes, tell :o I've searched in the past, trying to find a way to get music from MySpace without downloading a program, but had no luck :(

 

Oh no, it involved downloading a programme :P The programme is called Freecorder and you have to play the file in full, but it doesn't record the sound, it rips the file, so I had the volume off while i did it but it still ripped them all ^_^

Would it be allowed? Also, Lena is already being sent this edition, but in case you can't tell, it isn't Lena in the video, it's a man dressed as her :P

Basically, in whichever browser you installled it in go to the myspace page of the act you want the song of, then in your toolbar it should say Rip Audio. Click it, and it will come up "Waiting for Audio". Hit play on the track you want and it'll rip. When you're done, highlight over FreeCorder and click Stop Recording, then on the file that comes up, right click and select Play in default media player (or something to that effect) and it'll be saved like that! Hope that made sense :heehee:

Oh, I thought I was making a mistake when I un-checked the "Install toolbar" thing :kink: I might have to try it again. But I think it only gave options for Internet Explorer & Firefox :unsure: and I use Safari. I'll give it a try at some point, thanks

There have been far cheaper songs sent in the past. Like any of the many BuzzJack friendly Radio 1 playlisted at the time songs that went on to win/smash without any effort whatsoever and with barely anyone discovering them through the contest. But nobody particularly remembers these as BJSC songs anyway in the long run, I often forget some of the songs that have been entered here, like Love Story, Jai Ho, Bulletproof etc... until I look at the 'songs of' thread :heehee: Still, Eminem isn't exactly well loved on here, even though Rihanna obviously is.

 

I'd love to see a complete unknown song and/or artist win this month just because it would be more fun for me as a host rather than revealing the latest Radio 1 playlist smash win yet again but I appreciate it doesn't happen very often, so maybe I'll just fiddle with the results to make the final outcome more acceptable to me.

I really want it to happen this month, or at least for their to be some sort of shock winner - it would make hosting/revealing the results so much more fun! Ideally somebody who's never won before but looking at the list of songs so far, it looks like Mdice vs. Quotosibb, but I literally haven't heard 80%+ of the songs, so who knows. Sheelah proved that unknowns can still win, so I'm optimistic :D

We don't really get those kinds of tracks anymore though - I see this in much the same vein as Good Times. Except this is inexcusable as it's very, very clear that this is going to be released in the very near future and become an obvious worldwide smash hit.

Or me :wub: I'd love a win, although it's not gonna happen ha. But again, as long as someone has discovered this through this contest and loved it I won't complain :wub:

 

But yeah. I don't think Aaron's that guaranteed to win tbh. (Although I certainly wouldn't mind it :heart:) People could possibly think it's just 'Airplanes' Part 3.
