I'm thinking of getting the album tomorrow. Do you all think it's worth it? My brother got her debut and although I quite liked it neither of us listened to it that much

You'd probably be better listening to the songs on Youtube or somewhere first before buying if you're not sure.

Yeah I'll check it out on youtube before investing my hard earned cash!

I think it's worth it and i'm not just saying that because it's Jordin! It's only 5 quid to download off HMV so it won't be much money wasted if you don't fancy it! £7.99 in HMV too and something like £7.73 in ASDA.

Really tempted to get this and her debut album simply off the back of the single, never really liked any of her stuff before but Battlefield has got almost 90 plays on my itunes in little over a week

My favourite ('The Cure') is the THIRD most downloaded track from her album on iTunes  (Behind 'Battlefield' and 'SOS' - Which is predictable TBH :P)

THIRD SINGLE PLEASE JORDIN!

onto 8th full listen and i love it.

my faves - battlefield, let it rain, SOS, 911 emergency, papercut, definately a grower the more i listen the more i like

I've actually changed my opinion a bit since then. The Cure is amazing and I love the message in Faith. Papercut and Postcard have grown on me too.

Still really love this album. :) Really blows her debut out of the water for me and I'm glad it is getting good reviews. Oh and for people wondering about Vertigo, that was only available when you pre-order in the US and so it won't surface until the album is released there tomorrow.

I've bought the physical standard album and still waiting for it to arrive. :)

I like the tracks at the end too. I meant that they put the ballads at the end of the album, and they aren't as good as the rest of the album. :)

Vertigo is an amazing track, how could they leave it off the album.

Walking on Snow - 8/10 - Like this, I thik Jordin has her niche in mid-tempo

Battlefield - 10/10 - Get your armour

Dont Let it go to your head - 8/10

SOS - 9/10 - LOVE this, reminds me of Rihanna, Breakin Dishes

It takes more - 5/10 - blah

Watch U GO - 5/10 - blah2

No Parade - 9/10 - Vocals at beginning VERY Halo! Likin this

Let it rain - 8/10 - better than good

Emergency 911 - 9/10 - This song is almost like a Rihanna tribute!!!!!!!!!!!

Was I the Only one - 5/10 - blah3

Faith - 1/10 - blah4

The Cure - 9/10 - AMAZING. But my God it sounds like it was written for Leona (very Better In Time).

Overall:

I think Jordin has a serious identity problem. I really do like her, but this album reaks of other people, with very little originality, and that which is there, to be honest sends me to sleep.

It's pretty cheap everywhere so I recommend it (esp. if you already got Battlefield and then 'complete my album' on iTunes for £6.20 - deluxe edition!! Mega value!). Otherwise, just download the one's everyone's talking about - it'll get you by until Leona, Rihanna, etc. come back.

Must try harder Jordin! (But I still love you!)

Leona and Rihanna have identities?

Leona and Rihanna have identities?

Erm... yes

C'mon, this is her second album - where most reality singers form their 'sound', and while I like it, there's no overall style to her. Rihanna and Leona don't have identities lol funniest thing I've heard all week!!!

What exactly is Leona's style? Boring X Factor ballads? She's hardly found herself as an artist yet.

No she may not have "found" it exactly yet but would anyone expect that after one album?

And its hardly "boring x factor ballads" either.

As for Rihanna of course she has her style.

whats up with vertigo not being on the album??? It'll definitley be given to someone else, if she was going to use it on a re-release, they wouldnt have released it now and its too good to waste on a bonus track...
Album is 11 in UK midweeks :cheer: Fingers crosed for top 10.

good considering all the jacko albums in the top 10, should go top 10 by the end of the week and hopefully sony send out more tv ads for primetime times this week
