June 15, 201015 yr Our friends "Over the Pond" still dont quite get the grasp of a "One-All Draw" do they...? :lol: :lol: :lol: I fully grasp the 'one-all draw' concept.....even though I might be a less than casual fan over here, I do understand the rules of the game, and, the meaning of a 1-1 draw, especially since I've read almost adnauseam that the US squard are nothing but useless gits, and, the English squad will hand them their heads....yes, I understand full well that the rest of the world are more ravenous rabid football fans than what we are here in the US, but, that doesn't mean that we still can't field a somewhat respectable squad....and, yes, I'm also fully aware that the US squad are more often than not weak in the first 15-20 minutes of the match.....but, they can play well, when they have a fire lighted under them.... I did see an interview with Landon Donovan, and, toward the end, he said, that if the US squad can't beat Slovenia Friday, the US squad have no right being in this World Cup finals....so, we shall see how the US-Slovenia match plays out Friday....

They were without key players and still manage to beat their rivals. who do you think was man of the match and deserves a place in the England team.
