Just finished seeing it, if you mean that cock who "sung" Don't Stop Believing then I totally agree, never seen such arrogance accompanied by so little talent, he needs a good kicking

I totally agree about the kid on XF (well, actually I'd say that to both the 16 year olds on Xtra Factor, neither could sing a note). Last night, I thought only Anastasia, Mary, Matt, Rebecca (she sang Cry Me Out) and Sadh (she sang Beautiful Disaster by Kelly Clarkson, and Simon said she had no personality) were any good.

It was all about Matt Cardle and The Reason for me.

Mary was great, but she didn't lived up to my expectations to be honest.

 

I also liked Hussle's arrangement and also Rebecca and Sadbh.

 

Other than that I thought Seven was cheesy, Princes & Rogues were terrible and Annastasia didn't quite connect.

 

Oh, and that kid from the Xtra Factor was punch inducing. Absolutely terrible. Hopefully he doesn't turn out this year's Jedward. (Apparently not as he was only featured on the Xtra).

 

Also, did anyone noticed they removed Shirlena from last week's highlights? I was hoping they'd still show her at bootcamp. :(

Rebecca Creighton who sang Cry Me Out, has joined a girl band, ugh, she was better as a solo act.
OMG !

 

One of the guy last night was ... the winner of Fame Academy 6 in France (2006) :o :o

We only saw a few seconds of him, but he got 3 yes :o

 

Scary. The man is AWFUL, his album charted at like 159 in France, he's the biggest flop from the reality tv ever.

Actually we had 8 series of Fame Academy (named Star Academy here), one every year from 2000 to 2008. It used to be THE massive show on TV, that's why Madonna, Britney, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and all went to perform on it. Oooh, I miss it now :(

Yeah i spotted that, I wonder if Avenue would have actualy had sucsess if they hadn't been kicked off the show...

Why do Sun readers want her back? She could not sing and the only talent she had was making a fool of herself. I suppose they just want her back for the laugh value.

It's just cruel if they bring Shirlena back. Yes, she is funny but if she has mental problems Simon will be manipulating a vulnerable person just for a bit of entertainment. And can you imagine if she was final 12 and there was a massive FB campaign from XF haters to vote her to win just to ruin it all :(

There is confusion around this though. Some reports have it that she did make it to the Judges House stage but was turned away then (I don't believe it). Personally ... if we do find she's through to the TV stages ... then this whole thing will have been the idea of one person ... Simon Cowell (as it has been so far). If there were a FB campaign ... then maybe it is the best way to end this sorry affair.

 

I liked X-F at the beginning but lately it has become all about Simon Cowell and the judges ... the contestants are just there as a side-show ... a freak show ... and all these publicity stunts just make it worse. Even on last week's auditions ... Mary Byrne ... lovely lady ... nice voice ... but people are going on as if she's Barbra Streisand! She was just very average and looked great because her competition that week was ... rubbish. Although I must say ... I actually liked that Anastassia (sp?) one.

 

I'll still probably watch it this Saturday though! :lol:

MY GOD Mary isn't half overrated :mellow: She was incredibly monotonous, that note at the end, started of well but didn't end too well. Lovely lady though, but I don't see the fuss. Sorry. Matt was very good though, but I think I prefer Olly...

 

Annastasia was the best of the night for me personally. Also, The Reason were brilliant, but get a new lead vocalist :( The other three were perfect with their harmonies and stuff (they won't stick to that harmony thing throughout the whole series though *cough*JLS*cough*) but the lead singers voice was a little off putting...

Is it Natalie Imbruglia who's the guest judge tonight?

If so, i can't wait then because we will get to see that girl get punched in the face! :D :P

It is Natalie tonight, because her ep was meant to be shown last week and Katy's this week, but they swapped them for some reason.

Another category spoiler from The Sun today, they seem to be different every week.

 

Cheryl will whittle down the X Factor's girls category after Louis landed the over-28s, Simon took the groups and Dannii Minogue the boys.
