Last time there was a poll, but more persons voted in that poll than those that submitted the votes... So I decided to accept the nominations for the next song only from who votes also

2 quick things to remember here also: the votation closes Friday evening :) so there's still time to change the chart. Until Friday, our rock number 1 remains Muse - Supermassive Black Hole. :cheer: xox.

It's time to reveal the changes inside the Rock Top 5 MW after other 4 days of voting  Well, there were some good votes (totally, 13 voters), but the points were really close for 3 songs :P Indeed, next time I hope more of you vote, because like this you can make the difference. So, where did Lostprophets entered? Is Muse still number 1? Check it out

And here is the final top 5 in a special presentation "à la Cornholio" :cheer: , where you can listen on-line also to a minute of each song

05. (04)Razorlight

'In The Morning' marks the return of the biggest ego in indie-rock, Johnny Borrell, and his Razorlight cohorts. Having bowed out of the spotlight following traumatic and punishing touring schedules and near burn-out, only to emerge briefly for last year's stand alone single 'Somewhere Else', these skinny-trouser lovers are back with the frankly astounding beauty of 'In The Morning', a shimmering and anthemic tune that they previewed at the 2006 NME Awards.

04. (01) Muse

Muse are back with the astonishing disco funk of new single 'Supermassive Black Hole', taken from their eagerly anticipated new album 'Black Holes And Revelations', which is due out in July. And what a mighty return it is, with 'Supermassive Black Hole' combining elements of sleazy glamrock-dance (last championed by Goldfrapp) with a crunching guitar hook similar to Britney Spears' 'Do Somethin' (yes, really!), all welded on to infectious grooveride of creepy vocal harmonies and dancefloor beats that could finally deliver the band the crossover hit they hinted on with their last album 'Absolution'.

03. :left: (03)Automatic

:sleft: "Monster"

Having crashed into the Top 40 with their recent second single, 'Raoul', The Automatic release new single 'Monster', the band's live signature tune, and another example of their raucous disco-punk, featuring a chorus that's destined to be sung from playgrounds to football terraces. 'Monster' is taken from The Automatic's hotly anticipated debut album 'Not Accepted Anywhere', which was prduced by Steve Harris (U2, Kaiser Chiefs) and Richard Jackson (Super Furry Animals, The Boyfriends) in Liverpool, Cardiff and Lincoln.

02. :ne: (--)Lostprophets

:srignt: "Rooftops"

Lostprophets return with their first single in over 18 months with the release of the euphoric anthem 'Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)'. The band gave the new track, alongside 2 others from new album 'Liberation Transmission', its first airing in the UK recently in front of 25,000 fans when Lostprophets headlined the "Give it A Name" festival in Manchester and London.
The single (and album) was recorded in Hawaii with legendary producer Bob Rock and the b-sides came from the same sessions and are all brand new tracks. The band, which consists of guitarist Mike Lewis, frontman Ian Watkins, Lee Gaze (guitar), Stuart Richardson (bass) and Jamie Oliver (keyboards, programming) formed almost a decade ago in Pontypridd, Wales.

01. (02) Kooks

:sup: "She Moves In Her Own Way"

>>>>> http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/Cornholio44/Most%20Wanted%20-%20Top%205/Kooks-SheMovesInHerOwnWay.jpg<<<<< LISTEN

The Kooks, who are currently riding high in the album chart, release new single 'She Moves In Her Own Way', the follow-up to their recent huge hit 'Naïve', which reached no.5 in the charts, and spent over a month of residence in the UK Top Ten.

Kooks manage to return on the first spot  Lostprophets reach directly the second place, but only at 1 point difference from Automatic (that is one point difference from Muse  ). Don't forget to check out the other genre results, and stay tuned for the next votation, where Razorlight cannot partecipate anymore :( xox.
