'California Gurls' was good for about a month or so. But even with the amazing video, it's not won me back over like most videos do with songs unfortunately :(. Maybe it's the weather letting it down for me? Considering I've been getting really bored of it since we've been having heavy rain and stuff :lol:

I agreeth. I don't think it's just the $h!te weather though. It ages quite quickly and doesn't have the same appeal that HNC or IKAG did that make you want to come back for me. I can still listen to those now and love them. Starstrukk & IWEMA also though they're more recent...

 

Still love CG though and I easily expect it to hit the top spot next week and finish in the top 10 of the year come December B)

I Don't like CG either but it will be number 1 for sure and be HUGE, at least top 10 in the end of the year... what she does in the US with this song is unbelievable, 300K+ every week and her airplay is crazy only after a mouth.

Looks as if she might be about to do a cover of 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' too if I've understood the clue correctly. That has the potential to be incredible!

In terms of Katy Perry songs, I think Hot 'N' Cold was the best, by a long way. I Kissed a Girl I found boring. California Gurls is cool (and I think it's better than Tik Tok, and Empire State of Mind), but it's not amazing. Starstrukk and If We Ever Meet Again were good songs, but they've been so overplayed on the radio, so I'm fed up of them now. :(

 

According to Billboard, Hot 'N' Cold was the 2nd most popular song in Europe in 2009! First was Poker Face.

 

Also, that Leona Lewis song isn't in the top 1000. :( However, Stromae's version of Alors on danse is #941!

California Gurls is a bit boring for me, I never really cared much about it. Hot & Cold is a billion times better.

 

HNC is her only song I ever liked.

Gaga needs to get a move on and enter top 10 before kelly rowland and glee overtake her possibly.

If she can make #10 she should be able to shoot up to at least #8, then hopefully glee & kelly rowland will follow and be #9 & #10.

Thought mclean may just make it, made #40! :lol: Probably to late for officially though.

I Heard commander on graham norton and i thought it was amazing and downloaded it :) hope it reaches top 10

on the California Gurls discussion, I didnt like it at first, but it has grown on me and Im sure it will be a massive hit

 

but even her biggest fans must admit, it is a total rip-off of Tik Tok, and I personally prefer the latter

Glee will start dropping almost as of now and definitely won't overtake GaGa, although Kelly probably could as she'll still be climbing.

Have you restricted the page size (i.e. chopped off some of Cordizzee's pop bars) or is Knaan really that close to Cordizzee?
