Pavel you know that I always used to post odds...and even if I post them now yet it will be as usual...no one else posted except tyron, you me or better say people who cares about bringing activity in here...and my point is that people who thinks lately is boring here needs to post more often instead of just put the contest with boring tag.

LOL not participating in odds/discussion because you're not happy with the one big final thing is so silly and childish. I don't discuss things either way so whatevs. Honestly, discussion in BJSC has been waning since we hit the 20s, I don't think it's the fault of the one big final.

I agree. I think the forum was noticeably quiet either last time I hosted or the last time I won and that was with the semis. People haven't really been discussing the contests a great deal for a long time, the new format is just being used as a scapegoat.

One of them has a few fans that haven't voted yet, the other one could well remain on nul! But we'll see...

This contest has some amazing songs in it. <3

 

However, there are some really dire trashy pop songs in this contest. Not so good.

I honestly don't think people refuse to discuss because of the new system but I think it plays a part; I mean it's a lot harder to do a predicta/odds for 50 songs than 28, for me anyway.

I always personally used to offer odds before and after the semis anyway, but I guess most people didn't used to listen to all of the songs from the other semi. I was always scared that I'd miss something amazing that DNQ'd from the other semi :lol:

I agree with JamesP. I started doing the Predicta and then realised I cannot actually predict how some songs will do.

I do agree with James, but I probably wouldn't do odds or predicta even if we had a 30 song final. With the predicta, I find it hard not to have a bias towards my favourite songs, and with the odds, well, I don't really have a clue when it comes to the numbers.

It's even funnier when you have NO CLUE how the song does in the 50 song final :lol:

Ok, I have done the traffic light scheme (mark a song red when I certainly don't want to vote for it, green if I really want to vote for it, yellow for may vote for it if there aren't enough greens), and I have ended up with about 21 on green :o First time I've done this system to vote in an online song contest, so it will be cool to compare in the future. So now it's time to order them, and get rid of the bottom six :cry:

I used to rate them out of ten as I went along, and mark which song I preferred to which, but something went wrong with that last edition which ended with me having to change my votes after spotting the mistake, so I've scrapped that method now.

I use the out of ten system too, trouble is I'm easily pleased, so this time I ended up with 12 10's :lol:
