June 22, 201015 yr Coulnd't she just pick the best 10 songs from the 23 (or was it 25) tracks that made it on to the delux version? It may have made it more palatable and a better lead single would have done wonders.

June 24, 201015 yr -Bionic was the lowest selling #1 album in 8 years. -Bionic was the biggest drop for an album or single in the history of the UK charts falling 1-29 (Previously George Harrison with 1-18). And... I think another record could be broken this week, (as it's not Top 40 in the midweeks) #1 Album with less weeks inside the Top 40 (just 2).

June 25, 201015 yr It will re-enter at some stage, surely. Doubtful unless a future single really works miracles. When an album starts off this badly it's almost impossible and very rare to pull it back up, especially as her foothold in the industry is nowhere near as strong as it once was. Of course she could just beg Simon Cowell to give her a guest performance slot in the winter and that may help.
June 26, 201015 yr That is definitely a possibility. Xtina is gone - like JLo. Not if she doesn't want to be. Christina left it too long between albums and not much effort seems to have gone into promoting this one. It might be too late to turn this particular album into a big success, but if she gets the music and promotion right next time, she could be big again. The problem seems to be that she doesn't care. Perhaps she will care more when she sees the charts and sales figures.
