Enrique is at number 2 now. Good to see he is huge in the UK again. :D

 

He's been huge in the uk since his comeback succes in 2007 with "Insominiac" album. And his last album which was a greatest hit record was a big selling album for him in the uk and worldwide.

Well Do You Know was a top 3 single but after that he had only two minor hit at number 20 (Tired Of Being Sorry) and 12 (Takin' Back My Love) so I wouldn't say he's "huge" in the UK, but not bad either.

I'm still surprised he climbed up to number 2 on iTunes.

Tired Of Being Sorry was second single off Insomniac and Takin' Back My Love (lasted a while in the chart) and was the second single off the Greatest Hits last year... He released the lead single late 2008 didn't he?

I think Takin' Back My Love was the only single from the Greatest Hits

 

Insomniac was certified gold (more than 100k) the Greatest Hits platinum (more than 300k) in the UK. So yeah it's not bad but I still wouldn't say he's a HUGE artist is the UK. Not a flop artist either though (like Christina Aguilera nowadays :()

TBML sold really well for a non top 10 hit.

Enrique was huge back in 2002 with Hero etc but his popularity hasn't wavered completly. He can still come back and get sizeable hits and his greatest hits sold over 500k whilst Insomniac had done 225k by the end of 2007.

I'm curious to see whether Commander will still do a Battlefield. I can see it peaking at #11 officially this week.

 

Remember that Battlefield was in the iTunes top 10 for a bit but was pushed out rather quickly and never recovered.

I remember back on 07 when Do you know leaked people were saying just like Ricky martin he's over but he proved everybody wrong.

 

I wonder if Ricky Martin can make a comeback?? or is he more of an tour selling act these days??
