) Position without downloads alone

= Position on Chart Show TV

Katy gets a 2nd week, as Kylie`s management want a kick of the backside!

Don`t forget to stay ahead with the chart, join Jason Scott on either Saturday at 12pm at http://www.wcrfm.com or http://www.thesuperstation.info on Sunday at 4pm. The Retro Countdown with Richard Todd features the top 40 from 1985 at 2pm on AtlanticOldies2ng on Sunday all over the net too.

Thanks, David! The main question I know - what's the gap in sales between Kylie & B.O.B.? Can she maintain her lead throughout the weekend? Seeing as chavvy songs like B.O.B.'s & Enrique's tend to pick up alot towards the weekend!

Edited by Princess Xena

Whilst it's true to say that Kylie will be on what, 115k (?) in total by the end of the week, it's highly doubtful that she would have sold that amount all in one week had the record company saved it until this week, and I still think she would have ended up at #2 behind Katy (although it would have been a more definite #2 rather than this situation we have now where B.o.B's could easily overtake). Indeed it's nice to see one of her singles have longevity in the business end of the top ten rather than her usual peak and straight out runs.

I love to know the physicals sales for Kylie, at least she has the physical #1, its strange seeing Terry Venables still top 10 in the physical chart

Thanks for compiling.

Whilst it's true to say that Kylie will be on what, 115k (?)

More than that, it's done 86k in total so far.

The all important question is, will she keep her #2 position? :P

Kylie clearly sells more physicals than downloads- looks like another number 2 for her :o

Looks like Professor Green could really challenge JLS on their second week, I hope her being high on pre orders is a good omen for Diana :(

oh and B.o.B is by no means chavvy, nor is Enrique for that matter

Edited by chart wizard

Finally borrow "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" from my library. 60 pages in and it's quite good - when I'm finished, I'll probably come to the conclusion that it fully deserved all the success it had on the books chart.

And I forgot "Alejandro" had been fully released this week. Not even the physical can push it higher than #7 :(

oh and B.o.B is by no means chavvy, nor is Enrique for that matter

Right, neither are Cascada or N-Dubz.

Thanks Dave

Right, neither are Cascada or N-Dubz.

They are for sure, but not B.o.B. or Enrique, I don't think US artists can be chavvy. Well, apart from Lil Wayne

And I forgot "Alejandro" had been fully released this week. Not even the physical can push it higher than #7 :(

I'd still say #7 is a pretty great peak for it though.

Right, neither are Cascada or N-Dubz.

Cascada? I cant see it, N-Dubz, yes, they are

but I still cant see how B.o.B and Enrique are chavvy

Oooft. Nice for Keri! Hope she can hang in there and stay above Plan B.
Right, neither are Cascada or N-Dubz.

Enrique isn't chavvy. I don't see Cascada as chavvy. B.o.B is kinda borderline at the moment.

N-Dubz certainly are though.

Great to see Kylie top the phyisical cd single chart, her fans (me included) love the kylie cd single still and i hope she continues to release phyisical cd singles for a long time yet.

Hmmm...

If NA stays top ten, this week's top 10 will have four songs (I Like It, Love The Way You Lie, Kickstarts, Not Afraid) by artists beginning with E and four songs (California Gurls, All The Lovers, Wavin' Flag, Commander) by artists beginning with K. B.o.B and Lady GaGa don't fit the pattern, but in a way it'd be interesting if Tinie overtook Not Afraid, then we'd have four 'K's, three 'E's and a BLT
