Quite disappointed Noisettes' track has been possibly cancelled - I was waiting to buy that, and the re-released album. Oh well, what can you expect with no airplay or promotion. It's like Keri Hilson all over again.

 

Pleased Shontelle has finally been set a release date for a track. Licky looks as if it'll serve as a second single, and although I loved 'Stuck With Each Other', Licky is a bigger (and more controversial) track and hopefully will do better.

 

Shocked about Alicia! I thought Put It In A Love Song was going to be the next single in August/ September. It's a shame that it'll probably be kept from #1 by Alexandra though. :(

Secondly, if none of the first *three* singles could go #1, how exactly would Alicia's fourth single get anywhere near it? :P

It's a bad and late released choice for Christina.

:w00t: A new Alicia song? I think it's for a re-release, a few sources say she's re-releasing. Un-Thinkable's remix with Drake is on there too! I don't think Licky by Shontelle will ever happen sadly :(

Why were the Pipettes and Sia pushed back so much?

What a bad week for album releases this week, Scissor Sisters are probably guaranteed a #1 album, or Eminem could hang on for a second week, I expect the only other new entries will come from K'naan and maybe Zero 7.

Still, I don't think it can get to #1... will the X Factor have started by then? If it has, she may well get a slot again.
