July 1, 201015 yr Quick question Tyron. Since Junior Eurovision songs are allowed, due to lack of BuzzJack members who actually follow that contest or whatever, with "Our Sound - Asia-Pacific Song Contest" starting soon, I was wondering if Our Sound entries will be allowed to BJSC?

We have yet to decide, but I'm 50/50 on it. Have they started selecting?
July 2, 201015 yr In a few countries yes. I think Cambodia (sounds like a BJSC country already :lol:) have chosen, and Australia is ongoing, but I don't think any entries will be revealed until September.

July 5, 201015 yr Back to semis then :o I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad over this. I do think less risks will be taken and great songs will miss the final again, but then there will be more happening and easier for some people to split up their listening of the songs...

July 5, 201015 yr Reservation opening tomorrow :cheer: Already know which artists I want, and I doubt anyone wants the same people :) But now BJSC28 will run into August :( I think I'll listen to both semis, and make a note of who out of the other semi I would've voted for had I had the opportunity, just so I can judge whether the right songs qualified from both semis
July 5, 201015 yr Well yeah manual votes count done by me ( :kink: ) showed that it was like 13-16 in favour of semis so yeah getting back to semis :cheer: Let's finally break everyone's illusions that every problem we have is one big final's fault :smoke:

I know my entry was the worst for safety last time, but this pretty much sums up why the semis are so rubbish. The positives you just listed no way outweigh the negatives. I think perhaps some sort of scale should have been used on the poll. I'm sure the voters for the big final feel more passionate about it than those who voted against. Just seems like a step backwards. Meh.
July 5, 201015 yr More people voted for semis than one big final - therefore it's only fair that we're doing semis - there's no point complaining anymore, it's not a backwards step for BJSC, because it's going with the majority of people. What would be a backstep for the whole contest is if we went against the majority.

Lady GaGa as an artist is generally Bjsc-friendly, but the song entered was certainly far from being bjsc-friendly. Also, imo the song Tom entered was a big grower and I did like it ^_^ (as with most of his entries these days)
