Not my personal favourite, it's too much like their older sound, although to me personally it ain't necessarily a bad thing, but the new fans that were bought in for 'This Ain't A Love Song', may not particularly like it. 'On The Radio' would have been a better choice imo. Ah well. This is still as catchy as anything!

Truly dire. Actually possibly my least favourite song of 2010 so far, even worse than Shout :o

 

The lyrics are horribly tacky and the song subject matter has been done before. This Ain't A Love Song was my favourite of theirs by some margin but I'd rather listen to She's So Lovely than this, and that was just about my worst song of 2007 I think :lol:

 

I'd be surprised if it went higher than top 30...

I remember them doing this at Big Weekend and thinking it was really good. It doesnt come across well in studio version though, it was quite anthemic live I thought but it's quite non-eventful really, oh and I agree with Rich those lyrics are quite awful.

Absolute $h!te in every aspect, I hope it misses the top 40.

I cant see this doing great to be honest, alot of bands have had big enough lead singles from albums but all the follow up seem to flop and i think this will happen here.

Scouting for "Heart Beat" is my favorite one so far ..

I heard 'On The Radio' was meant to be the second single originally, but it got changed to this. I haven't heard the former but I quite like this.

I actually dont mind this, it sounds slightly different to their other material

 

for me their best is 'Shes So Lovely' as ,well, everything else they did sounded very similar to this song- but I still love 'This Aint a Love Song' :wub:

This is better than TAALS IMO.
