July 9, 201015 yr If anyone is interested I got these sales from LucaBox from UKMIX Lighty Years - 49,000 Fever - 139,000 Body Language - 69,000 Ultimate Kylie - 83,000 X - 82,000 First week sales for previous Kylie albums, don't know how true they are. They look right from memory. Just been to local Asda and mid-way through the lunchtime rush they only had 4 copies of Aphrodite on the shelves and loads of everything else!!

July 9, 201015 yr Oh geez, if B.o.B can't overtake Katy, then PLEASE don't let Katy overtake JLS... I'd rather have the top 3 as it is than Katy at #1 (although ideally I'd like it to end up 1 B.o.B 2 JLS 3 Katy) Anyway, I hope Eliza D goes top ten this week or, failing that, next week. The album release might help it a bit? And it seems Drake will break his somewhat short lived 41-50 curse this week, unless FYL takes a major tumble on iTunes. July 10, 201015 yr In the sense that 'nothing's *impossible*', yes - however... ... the proportions I've heard quoted for scaling up initial sales across a full week, have related only to download singles. While front-loadedness obviously varies byboth artist & genre (urban tends to be less front-loaded), I've found a figure of 2.5x their initial sales gives the best estimates. Not to mention underestimates tend to less the chance of disappointment. While I find your "nothings impossible" comment a bit patronising (it selling 1 mil isn't impossible after all but using some logic I somehow didn't arrive at that conclusion) its also not implausible or outwith the confines of previous albums (hers included). For example, X opened on 27k in tues mids and ended on over 82k, which I make as 3x the amount of 1st mids. Were aphrodite to do the same we're looking at 98k- not a stones throw from 100k is it? If we apply your +/- 5k she could easily cross the line. I'm not saying its definite, but it's certainly plausible no? Also the 2.5-3.5x I mentioned is just an anecdotal observation of mine - haven't worked it out like you have for singles/stolen or misquoted you! I wasn't estimating down to avoid disappointment either, that would skew accuracy imho. My own feeling is she'll confidently score over the 80k mark probs closer to 90 but may not make the 100k.
