In order to find out who BuzzJack really thinks is their Queen Of Pop/Rock/RnB/Dance/Country/Lesbian Thong Stocking etc, I have decided to run this little competition.

Rules

 

1] Post a list of your top female singers in this thread [in order from favourite to least favourite]. You can post a minimum of 10 and a max of 30. They can be from any genre, country, language or decade as long as they have released at least 1 full studio album [sorry Jessica Garlick :(].

 

2] Frontwomen of bands are allowed as long as they have released at least 1 full studio album. By frontwomen I mean bands that have a female as a main singer. Shirley Manson of Garbage, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Hayley Williams of Paramore and Beth Gibbons of Portishead are acceptable.

 

3] Please don't nominate countless girl group or pop band singers unless they conform to the rules outlined in 1] & 2]. So yes Cheryl Cole would be qualifiable but Frankie Sandford and Sarah Harding are not.

 

4] The top 50 or 100 singers with the most nom-nom-nominations will go through to the main stage of the competition. I don't know the exact total yet as I have no idea how many votes there will be :P
