Lucy Allan started working on the show on june 1st.

 

ohh i forgot to say Fire at loft.

I wasn't even watching the show under most of her reign but I can tell that if that's the best of what she's done she was even worse than people say...

erm yeah, nothing tbh.

 

Nothing matches up to stuff from a few years ago like:

 

Grace dying/Mandy leaving

Explosion at the dog in the pond

Clare/Max

Mel's alcoholism

Becca/Justin reveal

 

All great storylines compared to the sh!t we get now.

Much stronger characters back then too.

Whilst that's an atrocious list all around, I can still say with confidence that it is definitely NOT anything involving Rae and her "OMG I've just woken up and decided I'm cursed to die, feed me attention!" A truly diabolical storyline led by one of the least appealing characters on canvas.

How she has survived the chop is a mystery.

 

For the best of a bad bunch, I'll go with Sarah's death. A ridiculous plot, but the actual death itself was handled wonderfully. But then that was Kirkwood rather than Allan...

The only decent/gripping one was Sarah's death and psycho lesbian killer Lydia.

You forgot about Niall's "revenge" on the McQueens! Still one of the best episodes/storylines Hollyoaks have ever had. Along with the whole Clare/Max thing! Brilliant stuff. Explosion at the DITP was brilliant too.

I didn't forget, I just wasn't that bothered about it :lol:
