NOT what I was expecting to see when I looked at the feed just now. Was expecting a catastrophic flop for this! This is barely dubstep at all but just for the fact it looks like going top 40 I'm gonna go ahead and congratulate Skream, Benga and Artwork on finally bringing the genre to the top 40.

 

Swedish House Mafia currently flopping as I expected... I suppose it'll take off but I wouldn't be surprised if it never gets any higher than low top 20

 

Anyway, looks like it's Travie for #1 as expected.

But that doesn't mean no other boyband should be #1. 'All time low' is quite an original and nice song, they sing great and don't do much ridiculous dance moves, so I'm all for them.

 

'Bilionaire' has been heard a million times before. For me it's like "Nothing on you" part 2, it even has the same featuring.

I agree strongly Bert for Lashes. I mean "Billionaire" is so generic and that man's voice makes me want to hurl things at the television whenever I see it! On top of that, it's gloating lyrics about wealth which doesn't seem appropriate considering we're in a recession and another rap artist.

 

Whatever happened to the days of diversity? I mean the majority of number ones have been this urban crap and at least tonight we've got a weird if intriguing club song getting there. I think people need to start broadening their horizons and start realising there is a musical world out there beyond the radio, music channels and whats in the gossip mags.
