I like the winner, even if it was a bit obvious, but it doesn't really ruin things (at least in the same way the winners tended to ruin their respective contests in the BJSC a few contests ago). A great top eleven!

:lol: As Dandy pointed out, I included it on a ChC CD Swap two years ago and Notos Hampson received and rated each track. He gave 'Britney' 9/10 so I assumed it'd appeal to the electro indie fans here. Obviously it was a mega fail. :lol:

 

Next time I'll send something that will hopefully be considered a bit more pleasureable. :P

You should've taken part in BJ UP. :( Had you submitted the track before Doctor Blind then you would've been the victorious poster tonight. Unless Doctor Blind submitted another song that proved more popular. :P

If the three month or so break for the BJSC goes ahead as has been conceived, I'm planning on running a more pop-themed Unknown Pleasures in the BJSC forum at some point in the break to tick things over and provide a contrast and outlet for those who do still want the BJSC on. I'll be limiting participation to anywhere between 25 and 30 for that...

The thing is what I like about this all the tracks are sent via PM, only 1 person knows who the tracks come from, its more enjoyable guessing who's tracks is who, I only knew 1 person, and that was West sending New Politics.

You did a fantastic job with this Mark. I don't think anything needs changing to be honest. Everything seemed to work perfectly well as it is.

I'm pretty short on time recently, and didn't feel that I had enough time to take part in it and fairly judge the songs. I won't be taking part in BJSC for much longer for the same reasons...

 

So I wouldn't have denied Doctor Blind his very deserved win, as I didn't even consider signing up/taking part. I always have done on CHC of course, winning the last one with a song that I'd previously won BJSC with, so maybe this will be a vice versa situation :lol:

Exactly. Ryan told Hits to submit the Britney thing right after he gave the go ahead for cuts in funding to public services (via Twitter, obviously). :(

 

I'm pleasantly surprised with my 25th place :kink: Caitlin Rose isn't exactly everybody's cup of tea - so I'm glad to see at least 3 people liked he song :P.

I think it worked well as it is Mark, the scoreboard was a nice little bonus. I also love the fact that nobody really knows who sent in what (apart from the host) - it definitely adds to the anticipation I feel.

There were a few great discoveries here for me, particularly Perfect Day and Sponsored By Destiny, and I am pleased with Lay Low's 10th place. Glad a few people liked it!
