Is this possible - i.e. to insert a table into a post similar to the

 tags used on Digital Spy?

 

Would make one of the threads I post now in the Chart Chat section A LOT easier if it were.

I know you can use the "pre" and "/pre" in the usual [] here to post things in tabulated form - you could give that a go Gary!

It seems to work without the "pre" - what is the pre actually doing? Or have I got the "pre" in the wrong place?

 

Also, any ideas on how to sort out the spacing so that the columns are lined up (without having to manually add spaces etc)?

 

I'm copying and pasting from an Excel spreadsheet, so when it moves from column to column the copy/paste inserts a "tab" between entries on each row.
