July 27, 201014 yr 2 of my top 4 are gone already!!! Lights and Ashley Tisdale :( But oh well! Out of those that have been mentioned I like: 76 Ashley Tisdale 89 83 Ashlee Simpson 67 84 Lights 59 91 Gabrielle 50 93 Luciana 47 98 Regina Spektor 35
July 27, 201014 yr Tina Turner is the only one so far who should have been alot higher. Don't mind Kate Nash and Ashlee Simpson aswel
July 27, 201014 yr Well somebody had to finish last and Shoat should be pleased that 2000s one hit wonder, Amorossi is the victim by quite a margin. I was kind of hoping for Tisdale or Ashlee Simpson, but alas! So far: 76 Ashley Tisdale 89 79 Sheryl Crow 77 83 Ashlee Simpson 67 86 Sharleen Spiteri 55 88 Sarah McLachlan 53 91 Gabrielle 50 96 Tina Turner 41 Buzzjack, are we SERIOUS?!!
July 27, 201014 yr FFS stop complaining Tony. I don't think Tony is actually complaining. It's more constructive criticism. And personally I think it's a solid and worthy suggestion to have a two album minimum requirement. Weeds out the one album 'flash in the pan' acts.
July 27, 201014 yr For the record - I like these people as musicians 92 Beth Gibbons 48 94 Souxsie Sioux 45 95 Charlotte Hatherley 44 99 Courtney Love 22 These people have my respect (in varying degrees) 78 Santigold 82 81 Siobhan Dongahy 68 82 Sia 67 89 Joni Mitchell 52 96 Tina Turner 41 And for some reason and despite having heard Foundations I find Kate Nash surprisingly atttractive!!!!!!! Is there something wrong with me??

Weeds out the one album 'flash in the pan' acts. I agree with that. Tony, you just come off so negative in your posts all of them look like complaints to me by now. Just saying. HOPE FOR THE BEST AND BRACE FOR THE WORST.
July 28, 201014 yr Buzzjack, are we SERIOUS?!! Yes :heehee: 54XRNQ2C2x0 On_ZPiDEqkA TISDALE FTW <3
July 28, 201014 yr I like all of them to some extent I guess, Courtney Love and Beth Gibbons aside...My comments; 76 Ashley Tisdale 89 77 Faith Hill 87 78 Santigold 82 79 Sheryl Crow 77 80 Kate Nash 71 81 Siobhan Dongahy 68 82 Sia 67 She really is a bit of an enigma, she's the voice behind two of my all time favourite songs - Destiny and Somersault (by Zero 7) yet I didn't have room for her in my top 30, her solo stuff is very hit (Soon We'll Be Found, Buttons, Clap Your Hands, Taken For Granted) and miss (mostly everything else). 83 Ashlee Simpson 67 84 Lights 59 85 Corinne Bailey Rae 57 86 Sharleen Spiteri 55 87 Lykke Li 55 88 Sarah McLachlan 53 Brilliant singer, I'm surprised that she beat Alesha, who clearly isn't as adored by BJ as I'd thought, but deserved far far higher. Surfacing and Afterglow are masterpieces. 89 Joni Mitchell 52 90 Alesha Dixon 51 91 Gabrielle 50 93 Luciana 47 94 Souxsie Sioux 45 95 Charlotte Hatherley 44 96 Tina Turner 41 97 Colbie Caillat 41 - She's seriously so much more than just 'Bubbly'. Realize is far better for a start imo, and The Little Things, Oxygen, Fallin' For You, Break Through, Battle and god knows how many others tracks of hers are well worth checking out. Love her. 98 Regina Spektor 35 - Far too low imo, Begin To Hope is a fantastic album. That said, I'm not sure I had space for her in my top 30  100 Vanessa Amorosi 14 - LAST :drama: The Power, and Hazardous are stunning albums, lets ignore that 2008 non-entity comeback album - although it did feature the glorious Perfect
July 28, 201014 yr Yes :heehee: 54XRNQ2C2x0 On_ZPiDEqkA TISDALE FTW <3 That Tisdale song would sound EXACTLY the same if it was sung by anyone from Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson or any of the pop/rock girls.
July 28, 201014 yr 76 Ashley Tisdale 89 77 Faith Hill 87 78 Santigold 82 79 Sheryl Crow 77 80 Kate Nash 71 82 Sia 67 83 Ashlee Simpson 67 85 Corinne Bailey Rae 57 86 Sharleen Spiteri 55 90 Alesha Dixon 51 91 Gabrielle 50 93 Luciana 47 96 Tina Turner 41 97 Colbie Caillat 41 99 Courtney Love 22 I like those girls, Ashlee Simpson should be higher!
July 28, 201014 yr I agree with that. Tony, you just come off so negative in your posts all of them look like complaints to me by now. Just saying. HOPE FOR THE BEST AND BRACE FOR THE WORST. No you're right. I was complaining.
July 28, 201014 yr Author Well I'm so sorry that how I do things isn't up to your standards. I shan't bother in future.
July 28, 201014 yr That's what I do - complain. It's no reflection on you. You're doing a great job considering all the demands that are placed on someone doing such a job - people like myself whinging.
July 28, 201014 yr Author http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/3864977/Paloma%20Faith%20658500522_l.jpg 075 Paloma Faith + 90 Pts + Stats Votes: 11 Highest Position: 7 Top Ten: 3 Years Active: 2009 - Present I like this girl. She has a great voice, decent enough personality and a very distinct style which is evidently a result of her pre-music days as a burlesque dancer and magician's assistant. The music is rather sub-par though. It's nothing that hasn't been done before and there's far better artists out there that can manage it but Paloma Faith is certainly one of the more interesting new artists to emerge of late. Why the hell she is re-releasing her only decent song New York with a non-entity rapper on it is beyond me though. http://www.gossone.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/BrandyNorwood43.jpg 074 Brandy + 92 Pts + Stats Votes: 7 Highest Position: 3 Top Ten: 1 Years Active: 1993 - Present Star of TV show Moesha and responsible for one of the biggest RnB singles of all time in the fantastic The Boys Is Mine, Brandy is one of the leading ladies in the RnB genre. A lot of her earlier material hasn't aged well at all though especially the aforementioned TBIM which was a slick and sexy slice of music back in the day but sounds rather dull now as witnessed by the recent horrific Glee rendition. I loved her 2004 album Afrodisiac. More when I get home from work tonight. Edited July 28, 201014 yr by GrAmii
July 28, 201014 yr 074 Brandy + 92 Pts + The Boys Is Mine, great song and one of my favourite urban pieces.
July 28, 201014 yr I was expecting Paloma to be higher :( Love her to bits, her album was very good - maybe not a particular highligh of last year but she's someone with potential to make some amazing stuff imo. Brandy aswell, has an amazing back catalogue. Afrodisiac, Boy Is Mine, the entire Human album <3
July 28, 201014 yr Sheryl and Santogold - awesome! Faith Hill has a couple of good songs, Ashley Tisdale is a pretty ordinary Disney bint but I have a feeling I may like the Guilty Pleasure album if I tried it.I'm not even joking, Ashley's 'Guilty Pleasure' is one of my favourite pop albums of last year. I'd definitely give it a go at least. If I had two bitch slaps, I would most definitely have given one to Paloma :puke: 'New York' aside, she's actually awful. But maybe if I was given a third as I forgot La Roux would get my 2nd bitch slap with EASE.
July 28, 201014 yr 76 Ashley Tisdale 89 77 Faith Hill 87 78 Santigold 82 Amazing debut album. didn't put her in my top 30 i don't think, waiting for what she does next ^_^ 79 Sheryl Crow 77 80 Kate Nash 71 81 Siobhan Dongahy 68 'Ghosts' is probably my favourite album ever. She deserves so much more success. Amazing. Cannot believe Ashley Tisdale is ahead of her. 82 Sia 67 83 Ashlee Simpson 67 84 Lights 59 85 Corinne Bailey Rae 57 86 Sharleen Spiteri 55 87 Lykke Li 55 88 Sarah McLachlan 53 89 Joni Mitchell 52 90 Alesha Dixon 51 91 Gabrielle 50 TOO LOW :( 93 Luciana 47 94 Souxsie Sioux 45 95 Charlotte Hatherley 44 96 Tina Turner 41 Love a bit of Tina (although not enough for my Top 30) 'When The Heartache Is Over' is AMAZING 97 Colbie Caillat 41 98 Regina Spektor 35 - Begin To Hope is a fantastic album, 99 is a little low for her :( 100 Vanessa Amorosi 14 Brandy is also AMAZING. The Boy Is Mine, Afrodisiac, What About Us? and most of her back catalogue is stunning. She should be higher :(
