Hey, long time lurker but decided to sign up because I couldn't see threads on this topic.

 

I'm really into In My System by Tinchy Stryder, even though I'm not a fan of this kind of music. Great beat, great video, great vocals.

 

Where do you think it'll chart? Seems like a surefire #1 to me.

 

Would be great to hear some replies.

Top 20 at best. Failing in ireland at #80 on itunes, charts are pretty similair but seeing that theres quite rnb/hiphop/rap/dance big scene over here it could push to about #16 or something :) defiently won't be #1

I think it will go Top 5 with an outside chance at Number 1. Depends how much promoting he does, saw him on GMTV yesterday I think and he was good :D

I'm at a big disadvantage in judging how rap songs will do - they all sound the same to me...

Not a huge Tinchy fan, I really liked No 1 and that is about it.I actually like both this song and the video.I hope it does well and beats The Saturdays as Missing You is so dull and Tinchy appears to have built up a loyal fanbase.

Anyone who thinks this will flop is mad, that genre is very popular atm, he is probably the biggest star of the genre, its had lots of airplay, he has promoted on GMTV and has Alan Carr tomorrow night and his buzz single that had NO airplay before it was released and didnt even appear on the internet before got into the top 60 I think. I am guessing this will get to #05.
