I think with the Happy/Meet Me Halfway battle its a matter of opinion ultimately- although MMH is probably more highly regarded by critics etc. as Happy kind of sounded too similar to her other stuff- I didnt personally love either, but I think MMH has aged better than Happy so far

On the chart, I think Sats will either fall tomorrow or Friday- Im sure Flo Rida has number 1 in the bag for sunday, it is an echo of two things from 2009- the Happy/MMH battle and Flo Rida beating the Saturdays for a second time!

Edward Maya's longevity is absolutely unbelievable- I dont even know where its coming from, Train's longevity is also :o - I think that it could be in the top 75 Year end chart, JLS have really underperformed- by comparison on its sixth week, Beat Again had just left the top 10

Good to see Ellie Goulding still making a small impact- would be strange if she got two consecutive number 26's

The saturdays sell really well in the singles :) what ever missing you hits its going to be a success for them :)

If the saturdays had released "Up" now at their popularity im inclined to think it would have gone to number 1 easy what an amazing pop song! anyway missing you is going to be a hit what ever way you look at it.

Eminem is going to be no.2 at least.

GREAT!!!

Plus Flo has finally gotten that no.1 his song deserves.

I'm predicting 58-60K for The Saturdays:

6K - Wednesday

6K - Thursday

9K - Friday (Supposed Saturdays downloading day)

8K - Saturday (Weekend-Effect + Front-Loadedness)

Oh the irony of the Saturday's song downlading day being a Friday :-)

Well spotted

EDIT: Question solved :magic:

So does anyone want to hazard a guess to whether The Saturdays will still be at #1, will it be Flo-Rida & David Guetta or could Eminem & Rihanna finally hit the top spot?

The Saturdays will still barely be #1 today, then Flo Rida will take over tomorrow me thinks.

If we get sales, I'd predict that Flo is 1.8K behind.

EDIT: I'm covering in for M!key doing the Update today, so I'll try and put them in asap.

Flo has had a #1 before....

Also I can see The Saturdays going in at #3 on Sunday, wish they would get a #1 but i think #2 or #3 is more likely

I think he meant with Club Can't Handle Me.

On Sunday, I predict:

1. Love The Way You Lie

2. Club Can't Handle Me

3. Missing You

No update yet...

I honestly don't think Eminem and Ri will get #2. Thye are quite a bit behind both Flo and The Sats.

Plus The Saturday's are selling a huge amount of Physical's. Who Knows it's brill for them no matter where they get to now(Sales Wise)

Rihanna and Eminem don't have enough time to [a] get to number one and extend their lead enough. I think LTWYL will get to #2 at most on Sunday, I'm pretty sure of it. Missing You, if it doesn't start freefalling, could cling onto #2 due to their physicals. CCHM is guaranteed #1 this week as it's been number one on iTunes all week while LTWYL and MY have been either #2 or #3.

How the Hell are they still hanging on??

Must only be 1k or so sales in it now.

Sales sourced from twitter(reliable) indicate they have now sold 37,429.

LTWYL may benefit from the weekend effect, plus it's video hasn't took full toll yet. Anyway, The Sats are still #1 :o

So, about 6.6K yesterday, higher than my projection. I wonder about the difference.

Hmmm there's probably only ~600-800 copies between them.

:cheer: I'm so glad Enrique is holding up. This is shaping up to be a great era for him. We just need his collaboration with Usher, 'Dirty Dancer', to go top 10 when released in September. ^_^

Deserved. -_-

I actually bought this last week and there are a few great songs on there but it's very monotonous. 'Put It In A Love Song', 'Empire State of Mind pt.II' and 'That's How Strong My Love Is' are the stand-outs.

According to @kev_kev on twitter, Flo Rida is 1,987 copies behind The Sats. I'm really suprosed how well they're holding up, I thought he'd have knocked them off by yesterday nevermind still be #1 today with a lead of almost 2k!

Very Surprised Sats are still number 1 - the gap between the top 3 must be very very close...

I doubt they'll hang on until Sunday though
