Flo Rida is still #1.

In the top-300:

3. Green Light (Radio Edit) - Roll Deep (& 191)

11. Let You Go - Chase & Status (& 197)

18. Say You Don't Want It - One Night Only

20. Amazing (UK Radio Edit) - Inna (& 136)

51. After Dark (feat. Mystery Jets) - The Count & Sinden

70. Echoes - Klaxons

123. Spaceship (UK Radio Edit) - Benny Benassi, Kelis, apl.de.ap & Jean-Baptiste

152. Believer (Summer of Pride Mix) [feat. Wynter Gordon] - Freemasons

Maybe it could enter the top 100 :')

101. Higher - The Saturdays

If Eminem or Roll Deep don't get to #1 by tonight on iTunes, than Flo Rida will be #1 in the mids tomorrow by the looks of things. The question is will Flo hang on for a second week, or Emanna or Roll Deep make it to #1 in a later update in the week, its going to be an interesting week, I can see the top chopping and changing. Its so difficult to predict, any of the top 3 can take it.

I'd have Flo Rida or Emianna over Roll Deep anyday, so hopefully they remain on top.

I wouldn't mind a top10 for Chase & Statuts though, I do like the song.

I really can't go over Spaceship's flop though, such a great tune

Don't make your hopes up, Roll Deep are gaining rapidly :)

On the other side, Chase & Status need a LOT extra sales to get to the top-10 judging by the pop-bars.

I still think it's possible for C&S and Inna to get top-10 this week.

I wasn't expecting Spaceship to do well to be honest, although it is a bit strange that it's being beaten by an album track from The Saturdays released a day later.

I'm still sticking to my predictin of love the way you lie getting to #1, i think this may be the only week which it can do it so it needs to get to #1 quick before roll deep catch up!

This Sunday:- Love the way you lie, green light, club cant handle me.

Next Sunday:- Dynamite.

Next Next Sunday:- Teenage dream (if released), Please dont let me go, Love the way you lie (physical release) maybe could hit #1 here then.

I agree. The song really deserves to be number-one, it's been so huge! Especially considering it was basically just an album track at first.

^ If it doesnt hit #1 though, i'm sure they dont mind, how many weeks has it been in the top 10 already and techinally not even released yet!? HUGE hit, and it wont go anywhere for a long while to come...

I hate how many of the huge hits this year have got #2/#3 - yet the #1s are plumetting down, and have hardly sold anything.

Let's take Vidcapper's Top 20 sales for singles:

Pos Artist Song YTD

5 Alicia Keys Empire State Of Mind (Part II) 518000

6 Rihanna Rude Boy 510700

11 Plan B She Said 457000

12 Eminem ft Rihanna Love The Way You Lie 440700

13 3OH!3 ft Katy Perry Starstrukk 408500

14 Glee Cast Don't Stop Believin' 405800

15 Jason Derulo Ridin' Solo 402000

17 Journey Don't Stop Believin' 374400

18 Timbaland Ft Katy Perry If We Ever Meet Again 371300

19 Sidney Samson Riverside 369900

So that's 10 songs in the Top 20 - that all missed #1. Where is Dirtee Disco, Once, The Club Is Alive?! All of the Top 4 should've been #1 for sure based on sales. :(

Chase & Status are 8.8% outside the Top 10.

Roll Deep are 6.7% behind Number One.

INNA is 25.4% outside the Top 10.

One Night Only are 24.2% outside the Top 10.

The Count & Sinden are 3.3% behind the Top 40.

Klaxons are 1.7% outside the Top 50.

The Saturdays (Higher) are 0.8% outside the Top 75.

I'm fine, thanks Tactical. Hope you enjoyed the US of A. :D

That would be a far better list of #1's for the most part than the dire list we've had in reality...It's no coincidence that the majority of these were from already available albums, so they lose out on a lot of 'potential #1' sales on their way to the top end of the charts. That 7,000 they've amassed at some week at #30 on the way up could be the difference between them being #1 or #2 a month later. Obviously all of the #1's that have disappeared quickly are those with pent up demand that have debuted at #1 and then the demand quickly dissolves after the initial burst of popularity.

The only way this can particularly be recitfied is if every song is released to iTunes as soon as it leaks/premieres, in line with basically every other country in the world. It's bizarre that record companies treat our chart so differently to every other country in the world, with #1 being the be all and end all for a lot of pop acts (JLS, The Wanted, Saturdays etc...) and so many songs held back for 6-8 weeks after the initial radio plays. It's obviously a better situation than 10 years ago when this was the case for every single release, at least now we get to see 2nd/3rd album singles grow organically, but they really should just release the lead singles as soon as they leak too and stop worrying about that coveted #1. It must be highly embarrassing for the acts when they realise that the week after they've tumbled down to the bottom of the top ten...hardly a worthy #1. This isn't the Westlife/McFly era, and it's a shame that manufactured pop acts and their record companies want to bring this crappy fad back. They'd get a lot more sales overall (and make more money!) if they released every song straight away. I really don't understand that business model

Monday: New releases in the Top 1000 (singles, album tracks, songs cheery picked from compilations):

306. Believer (Summer of Pride Mix) [feat. Wynter Gordon] - Freemasons

361. Amazing (Play & Win Mix) - Inna

546. Let You Go (Brookes Brothers Remix) - Chase & Status

576. Make Me Smile - Pearl & The Puppets

609. Everything You Wanted - Kele

634. Let's Go Surfing - The Drums

635. Unlikely Hero - The Hoosiers

636. Ego - The Saturdays

729. Let You Go (Nero Remix) - Chase & Status

730. Green Light (Future Freakz Remix) - Roll Deep

780. One Shot (Starsmith Mix) - The Saturdays

832. Bromance (Avicii's Arena Mix) - Tim Berg

833. Kickstarts (Radio Edit) - Example

834. Bumpy Ride - The Hoosiers

883. Embers - Ash

947. Box of Secrets (Radio Edit) - Zarif

The Saturdays are still no.1 on iTunes album chart.

Does this mean they could be looking at a top 5 midweek?

This could be their first album to chart higher than no.9 :)
