Most organic song I've heard all year, so beautifully simple and refreshing to hear when the charts are ruled by rap and RedOne, and she has a fantastic voice. I'm looking forward to her album if Slow is anything to judge it by. Hopefully this will be a hit, it's got such an 'instant classic' sound, one of those songs that you're sure must be a cover version but it's not.

Soundgarden track is taken from their forthcoming compilation, and while it isn't new, it doesn't look like it has ever been on iTunes before.

Well The Saturdays have been no.1 on iTunes album chart since Monday morning and havent slipped.

If iTunes data was missing, they could have sold around 7,000 yesterday instead of 6,000.

It'll probably get Top 30 on iTunes by tonight or tomorrow and shoot down again.

That Joe Jackson song was on The One Show last night for whoever was asking. When a song randomly charts on iTunes you can bet it was on a tv show.

The thing is, I think Alors on danse is getting less promotion this week than last week. Last week, it was record of the week, so it was played on the most listened to radio show every day. Alors on danse is a grower for most people, so it would've been broadcast to a similar group of people everyday, and some of them had listened to it enough to like it by the end of the week. Now, it's still being played everyday, but during random shows, so people who listen to those shows might only be hearing it for the first time, and might not hear it again for a couple of weeks, not to mention less people listen to the other shows.

 

However, it's doing very well, considering when it's release date is. And perhaps people might be waiting for the English version.

Great for The Sats.. all Headlines songs charting. A bit worrying though for album sales as it seems people are just buying the new tracks rather than buying the album. At least album is top 3 in the mids I suppose!

I'm not surprised Missing you is holding up, it's getting a lot of good airplay right now.
