Obviously Bing Crosby will not be included in this list, but the likely number 101 is Kylie & Jason closely follow by Little Jimmy Osmond.
LOL at seeing the Xmas tracks in there, I expected Kylie a little big higher
Nice to see the recent mid-90's sale adjustments didn't deny Whigfield her million seller. Didn't realise some of these had passed the million, glad ABBA finally got their million seller - the list was worrying before when they were absent from it.
I'm surprised Peter Andre Mysterious girl isnt in the list, unless its at 101

We have something to be thankful for in that case!

By the way doesn't Tony sound good? A good choice to replace Dale Winton!

Surprised at how high Alex B is :o

Never been a big fan of TB doing count downs, Mark Goodier would have been brilliant.

I haven't listened to this Gareth Gates song since it was out  I don't hate it as much as I recall :drama:

Tony Blackburn said that 'Is This The Way To Amarillo', (No.53),

was a 'Re-recording' of the 1971 Hit. In fact, it is 100% the same

Hit as in 1971. Peter Kay only appears in the 2005 Video - and even

then he only moves his lips to the Song. He does not sing a note on

the actual 2005 No.1. For some reason, the 2005 Single credits both

him & Tony Christie - making many people think that he Sings on it.

looks like the early/mid 90s sales downgrades have been completely reversed - Think Twice and Gangsta Paradise both much higher than I expected - be interesting to see where Wet Wet Wet and Robson and Jerome end up!

I have a version of it from an ancient compilation and it's not exactly the same as the version released in 2005, definitely sounds different and more dated/his vocals sound slightly different. Did they not polish the production a bit and have Tony re-record the vocals for the re-release? Peter Kay shouldn't have been credited on the re-release though, because indeed, he has nothing at all to do with it apart from featuring in the video. They could have put a sticker on the front of the CD single saying 'with the video featuring Peter Kay'.

Edited by chart wizard

Both 96 and 98 version of Three Lions sales have been combined which is wrong as they both have different words and therefore a different song.
But surely both versions weren't counted together back in 2002? So why now? Anyway this probably suggest that Mysterious Girl is the million seller at 101 as that was the same song.
Where on earth did Three Lions come from to make it on this list? I'm sure I've never seen it on the million sellers list. Surely they;re not counting re-issues like Three Lions 98 and 2010 - they're different recordings and artists!

The 2010 version won't have counted as it was a completely different recording but they combined the B, S & LS versions in the weekly chart in the summer so they've obviously decided to do the same here.

I'm pretty sure this top 100 doesn't include all the singles that have sold 1 million copies. 'Sex on Fire' was the 101st million seller so it must have pushed out another song to have made the top 100! Perhaps Mysterious Girl?
