KK: Journey - Seriously?! :manson:

A truly appalling list tbh - no Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Smiths, Chilli Peppers, The Clash, The Kinks, The Who - but yet Jedward, Pest$h!te? Perhaps this shoulve been split up between proper bands and pop groups in order to separate the manufactured from the proper artists/musicians? I could only manage 20 - only 10 made it from my original list and the other 10 are bands I like but don't love.

Bitchslap. Quite a lot of nominations but I'll slap the Pussycat Dolls

EDIT: I watched the votes and found out that the Saturdays are REALLY overranked. I won't bitchslap them or even put them down in my list (they will still be at #15), but if they are above Sugababes or Girls Aloud in final, the rank will be a laughing stock, at least for me.

While I agree with TS being overrated, at least they can manage three albums without changing the line-up.

The Sugababes are just a laughing stock in themselves.

I put the Sugababes first in my rank not because of line-up changes but because of the quality of their material, firstly with Mutya, Keisha, Heidi and Siobhan. :) Of course, their current state wants to wish something better but when I remember the songs like 'Round Round', 'Stronger', 'Hole in the Head', 'Ace Reject', 'Run For Cover' etc. etc. etc. I don't bother about what the group became now, I just adore what they've done with pop-music. In my opinion, them and Girls Aloud put the definition of pop-group into the new higher standard while there is nothing groundbreaking in the Saturdays. That's why I think it would be a travesty if Sats were higher than both of these groups in the final results.

Oh ok. Btw, I was slagging of Sugababes 4.0 - not the first three.

I actually loved the second line-up. Their sound and image was so edgy and British. They were quality from 2000-2005. Dare I say that Amelle actually ruined the group. She's too commercial and "glam" to be in the Sugababes. The musical direction completely changed when she joined. AYN and 'Change' were great pop records but there wasn't as much of an edge to them as FLM, RR, 'Stronger', HITH, RD and CIAM. Then the C&S era was the first proper nail in the coffin. The sound seemed to be a copy of the Amy trend. Then Sweet 7 ruined the band and made them more of a brand. Can you really picture the original/2.0 Sugababes singing 'Get Sexy' or 'Wear My Kiss'? That's my problem with the "Sugababes". :)

TS don't have anything unique about them but the thing that they have that the Babes don't is a bit of chemistry. I can't believe there is not at least ONE original member in the Babes now and they still use the name. Do they think that they can sell on name alone?
