Joe McElderry has revealed that the direction of his upcoming debut album changed dramatically after recording one of his new tracks.

 

The 19-year-old told Metro that he would be opting for a "casual, fun, young, smart, not suits and things" look for the album's release.

 

"The direction before was a great direction," he said. "Then we did one song and it changed the whole album."

 

He added: "Now we have new songs in. It's such a modern kind of style and gone down much pop-ier and up tempo."

 

The X Factor has confirmed that he has been working with producers who have previously worked with artists including Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls and Enrique Iglesias.

 

Yesterday, McElderry announced that the still-untitled LP will be released on October 25.

I'm sorry but I think they rumors are a load of $h!t the Pussycat Dolls have split up for a start and I don't think Rihanna would lower herself. These rumors always appear like Alexandra is duetting with Beyonce and Rihanna is working with JLS. Anyway I hope he flops.

To be fair, a lot of people I know don't. A lot of people thought he was gay when he was on the X Factor, and were really homophobic about it, and some people I know thought he was too kind and happy to be a musician.

Intruth DS did post an article stating he had worked with all those people so a few people got the wrong end of the stick.He has said that he has gone for a more uptempo sound but not sure whether Dallas Austin can still produce good songs.I really like Joe's voice so hope it all goes well.
