Does anyone think they might be pimping that Adele song so much in preparation for it being this year's winner's single? :(

It seems very likely right now. I doubt Bob Dylan would give the rights away though, but we'll see.

 

Might be a similar case to Journey's. I've heard it all over radio lately as well.

well, Dont Stop Believing was used an awful lot last year- and that wasnt the winners song, so hopefully it wont be :P

But that would have been FAR better than The Climb, as will MYFML I am sure over the lame cover they will choose.

I agree. I think Shayne's winner single was an original song, and it wasn't too bad.

 

And if they do do another cover, they could at least significantly change it, because a lot of the time, they just sound almost exactly the same as the original. :( But some people completely change a song when they cover it. Or a medley or something. Just something a little bit different...

had DSB been used as the winners song, there would have been two versions of it in the top 10 at Christmas and three charting in January :o (plus the original could've gone top 3 :lol: )

For a show as big as x factor its a disgrace they dont have a new song for the winners single, and personnely i think if they came up with a proper christmas single they would actually do very well out of it. There is no reason in the world they cant get a decent song writer on board to pen an original hit for the finalists final song.
