That's odd. Katy is still showing as #11 despite her pop bar looking ever so slightly longer than YBC's.

They are, but they aren't contenders for the top spot IMO.

 

I think they definately are! McFly's long-awaited comeback, Aleshas new song (with her profile rising), plus Alexandras song isnt already available on the album so will likely go top 3/5

 

also Linkin Park and The Script are also out that week- but they most likely wont go top 10

McFly's fans are pissed off they sold out with their new sound, commercial radio aren't playing them that much. I've hardly seen the video anywhere. Alesha has no hope of making the top 10. Her last single flopped, she has practially no airplay and i haven't seen her promoting the single. She only performed it once weeks ago.

Alex is well represented on promo and airplay. Her problem is the song is a stinker. I agree top 3 is the best she can do.

I think The Script will surprise people.

I've seen the Alesha video quite a few times now on music channels, if it weren't for Buzzjack, I wouldn't of known a thing about McFly's comeback. I'm probably the only person who thinks that 'Start Without You' is great! I reckon either that or Teenage Dream will get number 1 next week with McFly in the top 5 and Alesha in the top 10.

 

Unfortunatley I've heard The Script song EVERYWHERE and has made it from me feeling indifferent about it (same as other songs from depressing bands, Coldplay, Snow Patrol etc.) to absolutely hating it. Hope it's nowhere near the top 10 but it will be in the top 40 :(

 

Also just noticed that Ellie Goulding's remix album (Run Into The Light) is at number 6! :unsure:

I'm quite interested to see what happens now that Katy has 2 versions in the top 10.

 

Although, didn't Skream's In For the Kill get into the top 10, at the same time as La Roux's. They were combined, and that still never got #1. :( I would've thought a lot of people would buy both versions too, since they were quite different, whilst the album and single versions of Teenage Dream are identical, as far as I know.
