How strange, I wonder if she did promo somewhere that gave her a quick boost? I'm relatively gutted it's going to miss the top ten but she's obviously going to be an 'albums act' so not too upset!

PDLMG has got huge appeal (ie. sounds like I'm Yours), and big airplay and TV play. He should be at least a cert for the top 5 I reckon, with a chance at #1... then again, R1's snubbage of him (which seems to have gone totally unnoticed here :o) might hinder his performance

Do bear in mind though, that it's frontloaded for the same reason California Gurls was; because people have been waiting to buy the song for 2 months now, and they've all rushed to buy it within a few days of each other.

 

Dynamite, and many other front-loaded urban songs released in the UK have had different chart runs in other countries. I think the chart runs are more to do with the market in the UK, rather than the songs themselves.
