I'm sure KP will get to number 1 on itunes... however I am unsure about the official chart

 

Look at JLS and the Wanted's number 1's - both got to number 1 then dropped back midweek - only to retain the top spot due to high pre-orders and physical sales.

 

I can see it happening again with Olly to be honest.

Looking at the latest pop bars, KP is ahead when you combine all the versions. OM will be ahead on the mids - possibly all the way to Friday, but IMO KP will win in the end, as Murs's frontloading becomes his Achiles heel.

I think it will be close because Olly has physicals too but Katy is on downloads alone.

I can see Olly hitting 10-15K Physically, as X-Factor debut singles' normally sell well physically (granted they normally release around Christmas)

Loads #1 contenders released sunday too so only KP or OM will be able to get #1 this week so the battle is really on, hope Olly gets it even though i like both songs/artists.

Personally I'd prefer her album to get all the sales, rather than songs being cherry picked. That way there are more people to buy the songs when they are released as singles. ^_^
