August 31, 201014 yr Deary me, all these influential artists below Justin Bieber- how did he do this well? I don't even remember seeing people voting for him, I was obviously going blind at the time  I don't mind him though tbh
August 31, 201014 yr I personally think Justin Beiber, or how ever you spell it, is higher than these great artists, is that he is 'huge' in america, and as we know narrow-minded people will kill to have that bit of America in them.
September 1, 201014 yr Nick Cave and Kylie's duet is nothing short of haunting beauty  Love that song.
September 1, 201014 yr Author http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/TempahTinie.jpg 78 Tinie Tempah (72pts) Stats Votes: 5 Highest Position: 4 Top Ten Finishes: 2 Years Active: 2005-Present Country Of Origin: UK Finish In Nominations Top 100: =51 Karate Kicks: 1 (Leonardo2505) Yes, it's the artist whom I gave a KK to, but I will try to give an unbiased opinion  , Tinie Tempah has been one of the big players of the year, with massive number one Pass Out succeding in position, sales and longevity. Frisky followed which would have gone to number one, if not for World Cup Fever, the UK rapper plans to follow with a third single Written In The Stars and his debut album Disc-Overy. While I think it's a little much to give someone a top 100 placing who hasn't released a debut album yet, and has had two singles released, but hey it's you who decides. Favourite Single: Hmmmm. which one? Pass Out (from Disc-Overy) and that's only because I can't stand Frisky
September 1, 201014 yr Author http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/ReznorTrent.jpg 77 Trent Reznor (73pts) Stats Votes: 5 Highest Position: 6 Top Ten Finishes: 2 Years Active: 2005-Present Country Of Origin: USA Finish In Nominations Top 100: =74 Trent Reznor is the lead singer and songwriter of Nine Inch Nails, a rock band of great success across the world. The first NIN album, Pretty Hate Machine was big success and another seven huge albums followed, Reznor and has also worked with Saul Williams and Marilyn Manson. TIME magazine even named one of the year's most influential people in 1997. Favourite Song: Only (from With Teeth) as Nine Inch Nails
September 1, 201014 yr Author http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/Seal.jpg 76 Seal (73pts) Stats Votes: 5 Highest Position: 1 (Shoat) Top Ten Finishes: 3 Years Active: 1989-Present Country Of Origin: UK Finish In Nominations Top 100: =43 Same points as Reznor, but with more top ten finishes, Seal gets #76. Seal is a soul singer from the UK with a penchant for self-titled albums (3, in total) has had a career spanning across four decades and an album out this year Commitment. Seal is better known these days for making babies with the supermodel Heidi Klum, which is a shame as he as a distinctive yet powerful voice. Favourite Song: Kiss From A Rose (from Seal (Mark II)
September 1, 201014 yr Tinie - think he is overated Trent - dont like NIN Seal - has a few rather good songs. Glad Adam Lambert is somewhere in the top 75! :)
September 1, 201014 yr Seal lower than Justin B? Srsly? Nice to see Kris is still to come ...
September 2, 201014 yr Nick Cave and Kylie's duet is nothing short of haunting beauty  Love that song. Yeah, it's really beautiful.
September 2, 201014 yr Yeah, it's really beautiful. I've never heard Kylie sing with such emotion in her voice before
September 2, 201014 yr http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/TempahTinie.jpg Favourite Single: Hmmmm. which one? Pass Out (from Disc-Overy) and that's only because I can't stand FriskyNooooo! Should have gone for 'Written In The Stars'. Non-fans seem to love that just as much as his fans do I think. You should listen to it, you might surprise yourself :P But. Predictable list at the moment... Surprised Bieber and Kris Allen are still to come though, Bieber because I thought he was quite hated here on BJ and Kris because, who is he?
September 2, 201014 yr I really like Tinie actually :kink: Edited September 2, 201014 yr by Kuki Sanban
September 2, 201014 yr Author http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/BPlan.jpg 75 Plan B (74pts) Stats Votes: 6 Highest Position: 3 Top Ten Finishes: 1 Years Active: 2005-Present Country Of Origin: UK Finish In Nominations Top 100: =66 Plan B has the 75th place, Plan B has made big splashes this year beginning with a collaboration with Chase & Status, End Credits, and more big songs, Stay Too Long & Prayin, and the massive She Said. Plan B's album has also managed huge success granting him his first number one and still not having not strayed far from the top sellers. IMHO, one to watch out for, nice style and good songs, hope to see him do well. Favourite Song: Love Goes Down (from The Defamtion of Strickland Banks)
September 2, 201014 yr Author http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/NutiniPaolo.jpg 74 Paolo Nutini (75pts) Stats Votes: 7 Highest Position: 7 Top Ten Finishes: 3 Years Active: 2006-Present Country Of Origin: UK Finish In Nominations Top 100: =24 KK: 1 (Consuela) Bit of a shock this for me as he ranked quite high in the open nominations, Paolo Nutini is a Scottish singer who's a bit hard to pit down into a genre, he is known for his successful albums, These Streets and Sunny Side Up. TS in particular is very successful which was highlighted when both Bob Marley and ABBA weren't in the top 100 Albums a few weeks ago, TS was the longest running album. This is helped by the romantic mooding of the album, encapsulated by the song Last Request which rivals Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars in terms of use on TV shows. Favourite Song: Last Request (from These Streets)
September 2, 201014 yr Plan B - I quite like, although I liked his more earlier rap based stuff Paulo - loved his first album and he's got a really good voice
September 2, 201014 yr Seal lower than Justin B? Srsly? For once, we are in FULL AGREEMENT. A total wtf?
September 2, 201014 yr The film Stand By Me was on the TV last night - great story. Ben E King was one of my choices - he's lost it now unfortunately. I saw him a while ago and it was painful to watch - a bit like Paul Young - struggling to hit the notes. Three of mine have now gone  He is 71!! And after a wee weekend break.... http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/DylanBob.jpg 83 Bob Dylan (61pts) Stats Votes: 4 Highest Position: 8 Top Ten Finishes: 3 Years Active: 1959-Present Country Of Origin: USA Finish In Nominations Top 100: =39 Another older male artist taking a plummet after nomination stages, Dylan finished higher than Ben E. King through amount of Top Ten finishes. Dylan has been the critic's darling for decades known for bringing folk to the masses and creating engaging thought-provoking videos and songs. Dylan has recently topped the UK Album charts, making him the oldest man to do so, and highlighting a relevance he still has on the modern music scene. However, with all this gushing I should point out that he's not my cup of tea. Favourite Song: Blowin' In The Wind (from The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan) Unbelievable. :| Typical BJ.
