In 9th place we have ‘Photographs’. The song features Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am. IMO the most boring song on the album but it’s a good listen. Rihanna doesn’t really sing that much in the song, more like talk. I think it should’ve been a single as it would be a guaranteed hit because it has will.i.am on it, It could’ve easily gone Top 20 in the US and UK.

'The Last Song' is absolutely amazing, should be far higher imo! :(

I'm glad 'Stupid In Love' and the horrific 'Hole In My Head' finished lowly.

In 12th place we have ‘G4L’, the song represents Rihanna’s gangster/ghetto side. Personally, I’m not really keen on the song even though I know the lyrics. It doesn’t seem that popular to the BuzzJack members either landing it in twelfth place. Oh and I lick the gun when I'm done coz I know that revenge is sweet!

8th :: Rockstar 101 (ft. Slash) :: 7.28

In 8th place, yes 8th place, this came to me as a shock :o, its ‘Rockstar 101’. The most rock orientated song on the album finishes eighth. Personally, one of my favourites on the album. The rockstar Rihanna sure does pay off. It was released as the fourth US single and peaked at #64 in the US due to poor airplay but proved a hit in the dance clubs. Oh and its music video is AMAZING :heart:

Photographs is OK, just a bit boring.

 

I'm 50/50 on Rockstar, sometimes I like it, other times I don't.

7th :: Cold Case Love :: 8.03

In 7th place, it’s the longest track on the album lasting for over 6 minutes, ‘Cold Case Love’. The song written about Rihanna’s ex. It finishes with a respective average of 8.03 which is high for a song finishing at seventh. Also one of my favourite tracks on the album, the best bit has gotta be near the end.

Certainly one of the best on the album. :D

'Cold Case Love' is absolutely stunning :wub:. Love the lyrics and the buildup towards the end, immense.

 

'Rockstar 101' however is one of my least favourite Rihanna tracks, shoulda given it less than 6. Can't believe it finished higher than 'The Last Song' too. :puke:

'Rockstar 101' is easily my favourite song on the album, just a bit of a silly choice for a single.

6th :: Wait Your Turn :: 8.10

In 6th place, the promo single of Rated R, ‘Wait Your Turn’. It was suppose to be the second UK single but was changed. It charted at #45 in the UK due to strong downloads when the album was released. Personally, I love the song because of its sound, its new and different. The video is a bit dull shot in black and white but what’d you expect its only a promo single.

'Wait Your Turn' is okay but not better than Cold Case Love or The Last Song at all. :( Boo.

'Wait Your Turn' is brilliant! I didn't like it at first but I soon realised the genius.

BuzzJack thinks Wait Your Turn is better than Cold Case Love? This is disgusting.

 

Seriously though CCL is the best song on that album, and I may or may not shoot anyone who disagrees with me.

'Cold Case Love' bores the living $h!t out of me. It's wayyy too long and doesn't particularly go anywhere.

 

'Wait Your Turn' on the other hand is brilliant. Should have been a proper lead single, imo. But 'Russian Roulette' did it's job, so I shan't complain :P
