Posted August 30, 201015 yr X Factor's Murs heading for one 10:58 | Tuesday August 31, 2010 By Paul Williams Source: Music Week Singles X Factor 2009 runner-up Olly Murs is on course to do what Joe McElderry failed to manage by entering the UK singles chart at number one with his debut single. The Epic signing’s introductory release Please Don’t Let Me Go is comfortably outselling its two closest rivals combined to lead the market at this stage of the week, according to the OCC, while he also has the eighth best seller with This One's For The Girls. McElderry, who beat Murs in last season’s X Factor final, famously missed out on a number one debut last December with his first single to Rage Against The Machine, although The Climb did appropriately climb to the top a week later. The strong sales for Olly Murs’ first single should push down 4th & Broadway/Island act Taio Cruz’s Dynamite to two, having debuted at the top of the chart last Sunday. It is the week’s second biggest seller with the Interscope/Polydor release Love The Way You Lie by Eminem featuring Rihanna in third place. The first chart impact for Sky 1’s X Factor rival Must Be The Music will be felt this week with duo Pepper & Piano. Contestants on the show, their song You Took My Heart is the week’s fourth best seller at this point in the week. Meanwhile, XL signing Adele’s cover of Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love should return to the Top 40 on Sunday after it was performed by X Factor contestant Annastasia Baker. It is presently the week’s 17th biggest seller. The track originally reached number 26 for Adele in 2008. Albums While Please Don’t Let Me Go looks set to become the 10th different number one single in 10 weeks, on albums Virgin’s Katy Perry will very likely enter at one this coming Sunday with her second album Teenage Dream. Not only should it become her first UK chart-topper but her first Top 10 album, too, as her debut offering One Of The Boys peaked at 11 in October 2008. Teenage Dream leads five brand new albums among the Top 10 positions at this point in the week with two US rock bands, Warner Bros’s Disturbed and Interscope/Polydor’s Pretty Reckless, also heading for the Top 10 for the first time. Disturbed’s Asylum is just behind Interscope/Polydor’s Eminem with Recovery at number three, while Pretty Reckless’s Light Me Up is at four. Veteran folk artist Richard Thompson has to date only ever climbed as high as 23 on the UK artist albums chart, a position he managed in 1994 with Mirror Blue, but he seems very likely to better that this week with his latest Proper album Dream Attic. The newly-released album is currently the week’s seventh best seller, three places above Geffen’s debut Everything Everything album Man Alive. August 31, 201015 yr Is Katy P's Teenage Dream unavailable for cherry picking on other sites? If so, then that's almost definite confirmation that iTunes data is missing. It would also explain why Olly's physical (?) is @ #8.

He has no physicals, and he seems non-existent on other download sites (although I haven't checked them in over a week, so things could've changed).
