September 1, 201016 yr No, I'm 99% sure that the entry at #11 is either sales of the physical or sales of an iTunes EP which will mean they'll eventually be added to the sales of PDLMG. I expect the #11 entry will be deleted from the update tomorrow. I think the sales at #11 are largely made up EP and physical sales, but will include some sales of the B-side, given that it's at #60 on iTunes. At the end of the week, when they have totals for each format and song individually, they'll combine it all correctly. The EP and physical sales will be added to the total currently at #1. The B-side sales (which would be outside the Top 40 anyway), will be removed from the chart.

TOFTG is #11 in the mids due to a mistake. Obviously some of those sales won't be added to PDLMG as they are genuine sales for TOFTG (it is top 60 on iTunes) but most of them are sales for PDLMG via either physicals or the digital 2-track bundle or both which have been added to the wrong song. If I'm right in assuming Olly's physicals were added to TOFTG that report just means Olly is only a bit ahead on downloads, which makes sense. Olly's physicals will make a lot of difference though... There's definitely still no definite winner out of the two but I still think Olly will stay at the top

Its been exciting recently having a good few actual chart battles on our hands. If KP is to get it, she needs to overtake on iTunes with the version @ 2 by the end of tonight, and then build up a fairly comprehensive overall lead (measured using both versions) - that probably needs to be about 25% ahead of Olly's to compensate for Olly currently being ahead in the mids, and to counteract the physicals which are not factored into Olly's iTunes bar. In fact, it may need to be more than 25% depending on whether Olly remains ahead on other download sites, or whether Katy can sneak ahead on a few of those and balance sales from other download sites out.
