I do hope Katy can snatch the #1 and get the double, but I guess it's unlikely. Hopefully she'll be #1 on iTunes (instead of when combined) by tonight.

At least they've actually *included* her on today's update...

I hope Pretty Reckless maintain Top 5 position in Album Chart this Sunday! ;D

Nice to see they've been a success in UK, as much as I don't really like Taylor's attitude, it's a strong debut album.

Where in the charts is Heart's new album "Red Velvet Car"?

It's not Top 40.

I still believe in Olly this week.

Don't worry Katy loons. She will be number 1 next week. :P

BTW, Mikey - am I right in thinking that the mids only include albums/singles that are new entries, or climbers?

The mids that we get from Music Week give a list of every position in the top 40 for both the singles and albums.

What we do for the purposes of this mid update here on Buzzjack is sanitise it and only include the top 5, new/re entries and climbers. Although we also do a mini-artist update at the bottom which includes popular Buzzjack artists and any requests made by our members for that particular week.

Have only just noticed that 'One of the Boys' is re-charting. Katy Perry became a pure star this year, definitely. I hope Stromae will scrape into the top-30 on Sunday... Unlikely but hope is harmless.

Glad to see Brandon holding on :D

Has Madonnas Celebration fallen much this week?

Kano top 40 and Lissie Top 15 in the album charts very good news.Thats what X-factor needs to do more of get good songs back into the Top 40 great to see Adele holding onto 20.

Anyone know the members on twitter / Sats forums who get hold of the sales info for the Sats?

Maybe they could be PM'd / tweeted and asked if they could give us Olly / Katy sales info, save us all guessing!!

I don't think Katy will do it now. I was so sure earlier in the week. Her #2 version on iTunes has done a 'Rude Boy'/'Missing You'.

I think sunday's chart will be:

1: Olly - Please Don't Let Me Go (86-91k)

2: Katy Perry - Teenage Dream (77-79k)

3: Taio Cruz - Dynamite (65k)

The weird thing is that Dynamite sold 108k last week and this week (judging by iTunes and taking into account Olly's physicals) seems to be selling around half of Olly. Would Taio really go from selling 108k in one week to selling only 65k the next? But if Olly sold 46k (maybe more but I doubt it, thinking logically) in the first two days, and hasn't rapidly fallen on iTunes, he must have sold around 85k at the very least. Even 95k looks possible.

Olly will easily be over 108k this week. I expect Taio to be around 75-80k and Katy could be anywhere from 95k to above Olly.

I can't see that tbh. I'm probably being dumb but I can't see him selling more than 'Dynamite' despite 'Dynamite' itself being vastly overestimated by some on here.

Olly sold 48k on Sunday and Tuesday, with the sales of the b-side combined that would be about 55k, which gives an estimate of around 130k for the week.

1. He's definitely not going to be selling around 130k if 'California Gurls' only sold 123k.

2. We don't know whether or not the sales of the b-side/EP were included in the sales revealed. It was #8 on tuesday (#8s normally get sales of ~10k on tuesday, right?) so if the b-side's sales weren't included, the total sales would have been around 55k on tuesday. That's incredibly unlikely imo.

You might be right though. :P

1. What has that got to do with anything? Different songs, different artists, different weeks.

2. no we don't but some of those sales that were attributed to the b-side would be added to PDLMG at some point during the week.

Surprised adele is holding on to #20, surely she will drop by sunday, i wonder if she can actually beat #26 the peak it had when it was out! :o

Wow re-entry of one of the boys for katy perry, what a success she is this year.
