Posted September 1, 201014 yr 1. Out Of The Blue - Nice start! Piano sounds are amazing. The only thing that whispers 'WTF' (quietly :kink: ) is this couple of high notes, but maybe that is only me, tone deaf person hearing. :kink: Perfect ending. 8.5/10 2. The Analyst - WOW. This is truly amazing. I even had goosebumps after first 20 seconds of it. It happens not that often with me :kink: 10/10 3. Mistaken Identity - I usually don't like this kind of jazzy songs (at least it's what i hear  ) but this one is quite good. The lyrics are amazing. I'm trying to find something not pleasing/good about it but i can't  The break from 2:30 is PERFECTION. 8.5/10 4. Extraordinary Day - Anybody not finding this song incredible is DEAF. This wasn't a single?!???!?!?! It's like the most WTF thing i've heard this week, and i've heard somebody say that 'The Expendables' is an amazing movie. The last chorus' beginning is actually incredible, building up to a goosebums-producing level with piano/violin in the background. Oh my. 10/10 5. A Little Too Late - First forgettable song, sorry, maybe it will grow on me later but i didn't even notice it that much :( 7.5/10 6. Be Strong - Really sounds like some other song i know. Well since it's been out for ages, i am not saying Delta copied it, etc.. It has a couple of 'Hold On Be Strong' moments but there is something else as well, i think. Gosh, violin and piano ALWAYS win me over. P.S.: LMAO the last words of the song. :kink: SHAME ON YOU MS HAUKAAS STORENG9/10 7. Electric Storm - YAY i heard this one before. Not sure if it was because i accidentally clicked one of the Rich's neverending Delta's videos in every thread possible or i did it on purpose :kink: Anyway, it's incredible. Its chorus is probably the best Delta's chorus that i have so far heard. 10/10 8. Almost Here - OH.MY.GOD. This is going to be my favourite song of all time soon. Too bad i've just done my chart for this week otherwise it'd have shot straight to number one. P.S.: Ok, false alarm, it's just the beginning was so amazing :( Still 10/10 9. Miscommunication - Now THAT is the worst Delta song i have heard so far. :( And it all was going so well. :drama: I guess it's just not really the most typical Delta song  6/10  10. Sanctuary - Again, amazing and incredible. I'm already BORED of using these words but that is what her songs are to be honest. 9.5/10 11. Last Night On Earth - Lyrically, amazing. Melodically, beautiful. Impossible to add more actually. 9/10 12. Fragile - Love the way it builds up, goes down and builds up again :o There's nothing better than an acoustic piano ballad sung by such a wonderful artist. 9/10 13. Disorientated - I finally hear her wonderful accent in those spoken parts <3 The chorus is amazing (due to the violin-like sounds of course <3), but can't say the same about the verses unfortunately. :( 8.5/10 14. You Are My Rock - Again, a very good song, very Delta. 7.5/10 15. Nobody Listened (Hidden track) - I imagine it as some kind of a song from a musical of some sort. I like it but it's definitely not feeling as a Delta song. lolz. Her vocal abilities are REALLY impressive. 8/10 ------- Ahh i need a break from Delta. She can sometimes be exhausting. Amazing album. Once again, watch my Top 2 albums of all time changing in the next months :kink:
September 1, 201014 yr Author You'd have heard Electric Storm from when i sent it to BJSC. Oh yeah, true :drama: And PHEW at least i didn't do a Mikey here :kink:
September 1, 201014 yr Sailing so close to a 'Mikey moment' there :heehee: I see you downloaded the Aus version, the UK version has no Nobody Listened. Hooray to see somebody else loving Extraordinary Day, it's so powerful - gets me everytime I listen to it. I was absolutely devestated when a lot of fans/casual listeners passed it off as filler. It's not like it's Miscommunication - now that defines filler and taints an otherwise perfect album. Still better than Circle The Drain and What Am I Living For though i.e. the TRUE definitions of album filler :kink:

I can't find it

I can't find it  I'm talking about Katy Perry :P I thought you'd listened to her album! i.e. Katy's album DOES have filler on it and is not all 9/10 or 10/10 songs like BuzzJack seem to think it is. Just like this Delta album isn't all 9 and 10/10's despite it being my 2nd favourite of all time. Putting Miscommunication on was a big mistake. The era had some amazing b-sides which could have replaced it.

I did listen to it... once and not really attentively  Don't really want to do it again tbh  I'm currently OBSESSING over E.T. though which is officially the best Katy song i've ever heard. Other than that almost the whole album is an album filler :kink: I'm yet to hear b-sides which is always quite an interesting area, to see if management or people who decide on which singles to release are stupid or not
September 1, 201014 yr The E.T. love-in is oddly confusing to me. It's an 8/10 at absolute best for me, I drift off halfway through listening to it. It's one of two tracks on the album I can't recall from memory yet (the other being Hummingbird Heartbeat which is the other one that everyone seems to be obsessing over). Even Circle The Drain and What Am I Living For, I can remember without listening to, even if they are One Of The Boys rejects. On a separate note, I must have passed 40,000 posts at some point today :/

September 1, 201014 yr I haven't heard Katy's new album at all :heehee: But i don't even find One Of The Boys to be anything other than a 6.7/10 moment :drama:
