Really awful performance by Katy. Her voice sounds so weak and quiet, the backup singers totally drowned her out.

I've never even seen this Must Be the Music. Haven't got Sky and don't want it! Good job the X Factor doesn't release its performances.

 

But anyway, that was a shock, that song shooting up like that. Do songs from that show usually drop quickly?

Didn't mean to sound like I hated the idea of that new music show, it sounds good as it sounds like everything that X Factor (Which I hate) should be, with them performing their own songs etc.

 

Although I don't like Sky, no. I like the Sky channels but I wouldn't pay a penny to have all of those extra channels. Happy with Freeview.

 

Haven't caught the charts recently so didn't know the show was having such an impact. I listened to the preview of the song on Itunes and it sounds plain. Nice voice but without the show it probably wouldn't chart where it is at the moment!

brandons album is a let down in my opinion has nothing on the killers albums

It's so weird that Katy totally BUTCHERS Teenage Dream when she sings it, yet IMO every performance of California Gurls was pretty much note perfect (and most of the time in a higher key!), and you would assume that's a far more difficult song to pull off live. Weird...
