Alexandra is doing well on most pre-order charts and McFly are Top 10 but Alesha is No 1 on Play and starting to make small gains.I cannot imagine that her team will drop the ball and not have her do alot of promotion next week.All three of them are so much better live than the recorded versions.I will be gutted if both Alex and Alesha miss out on the Top 5.

 

McFly seem to be promoting Townsend-Records as the place to buy their singles so I think that is wear the physical copies are going to sell most with fans. There is some sort of special bundle on there. A special price. There's none of those silly downloads through your phone they used to do though so Itunes is the place they're promoting for downloads.

Some people do. I think there's some that under-estimate it too.

 

Although, to be fair, I don't think we know how much of the overall sales come from iTunes. I've heard people say it's about 80%, and I suspect it'd vary a lot from song to song.

Never realised 'Take It Off' was that high. Hope it keeps climbing and gets Top 10. :)

^ It may do what your love is my drug did and stay outside top 10 for a while. I can see it having the same kind of chart run.

Hopefully Take It Off will go Top 10. Its amazing. :wub: Certainly her best single to date imo. :)

Is she performing? If not, as far as promo goes it's a complete waste of time. Leona was on it a year or so ago and she was "interviewed" (and I use that in the loosest sense possible) for the grand total of about 5 seconds, and asked what she thought about stupid wee VTs they were showing. Complete waste of time and IIRC they asked sod all about her music.

 

Anyway, unless the format of it has changed, it wont't provide any boost whatsoever for TD.
