Amelle Berrabah has confirmed that she will appear on Tinchy Stryder's forthcoming album.

The Sugababe, who featured on Stryder's chart-topping 'Never Leave You' last year, teamed up with the rapper on a track called 'To The End' for his sophomore effort, due out later this year.

In a video blog posted on YouTube, she said: "We've just the chorus part of 'To The End' and we're going through all the different takes and see what our favourites are.

"I'm really picky, when it's your own voice you always notice that tiniest little bit. It's sounding good though, I'm happy."

Stryder added: "Amelle's voice is unique. [it has]that husky feel to it, so I thought I'd reach out a let her come handle it. Watch out for this."

The blog is first of a ten-part YouTube documentary on Stryder as he prepares to release his new album.

The series, called Road To Third Strike, will be shown in the week's prior to the LP's release.

Third Strike is out November 29.

I quite liked 'Never Leave You' + I usually like Tinchy's stuff + it will be nice to hear Amelle again = I'm looking forward.

EDIT: turn on at about 1:05 approximately.

She's probably trying to open this avenue to solo success before the next Sugababes project finishes them off, except Tinchy's popularity has faded dramatically since last year (thankfully).

I don't think it deals with future Amelle's solo by any means. While 'Never Leave You' was out, everyone was like "Amelle is going solo, Amelle is going solo!" I remember how someone said that if NLY got to #1 and GS didn't, the atmosphere in the Sugaland would be arctic. Ha-ha, I don't think that the person knew how accurate he was saying that. But even when all this Keishagate occurred that was Amelle who was about to be booted. But instead Amelle stayed and Keisha was sacked.

But anyway, my opinion is that this collab is based just on the past success of 'Never Leave You' and doesn't make any sense in terms of Amelle's solo either in positive or negative way.

Hmm he also teamed back up with Taio Cruz for a single too, it def seems like he's trying to repeat the success of his past singles, somehow i dont think its going to be as successful this time around.

'In My System' is better than anything from his last album.

I think the second single ('Second Chance') with Taio Cruz could still do pretty well and I'm sure he'll be as popular as ever once this comes out...

Oooooooooooooooooh Never Leave You is all kinds of epicness. This could be good.

The dudes a total midget though isn't he! :o Coz Amelles about 5ft dead on.

This will keep her and the sugas in the public eye a little more before they come back with a bang!

..or not. :P

Exactly what I was thinking!

NLY was absolutely incredible, even if this new track is only half as good I'll still be happy :D

I like it but it's leagues behind all three of his big singles from last year for me personally.

I prefer Second Chance but still not as much as I liked Number 1, Take Me Back and Never Leave You. I'll be interested to hear this new Amelle collaboration though.

Never Leave You was really quite awful. Im not sure if it was the overhyping by Sugaloons or the general blandness but it wasnt a PATCH on Take Me Back or Number 1.
I seriously loved all three singles. All would be in my top 50 of 2009, and that was an incredibly strong year for music overall. I really don't think Never Leave You was mediocre at all, it was the anthem of my summer holiday last year  Number 1 and Take Me Back were both fantastic for completely different reasons.
but 'Number 1' was plain hideous. :puke:

Agreed, N Dubz just made it even more vile than it needed to be
